Kerr coached 49 games this year (ten playoff games included).
Steph missed 7 of those Games (six in the playoffs).
Which means Kerr had to coach a total of 7 games this year.....LoL

We are all grown men and know what "acting professional" means and entails. So let's not act like we don't know what professionalism means.
As an athlete being asked questions about the goings on in your profession, and answering the honestly I would deem being professional. He's not rude, he makes himself available, and does what he's asked to do. Period. You can not like what he says, you can make an argument that he may not see the bigger picture when he answers, or maybe he knows exactly what he's saying. I don't know, or even really care. But you cannot call him unprofessional.
You can't discredit a coach because his team is not only talented but winning. Kerr has said on record that being a great coach requires the right place, a talented team and a bit of luck.Everything that Lebron says OR DOESNT SAY will be over analyzed...im sure he's aware of that by now.
As for GS, Kerr is a good coach, Steph is a good player. But I think a lot would agree that a lot of the props that Steph and Kerr are getting via the media, award votes etc are a bit over-hyped. Especially considering the fact that this "Warriors parade" is only 2 years old.
Its not Kerr's fault that he inherited something special, but the point is a lot of whats going on in GS is 80% players, 20% coach. All LBJ was saying is that the coach of the year award should go to a coach who ACTUALLY had to coach, not to a guy who sits down all game and let Steph dictate the game.
I find it funny that so many folks on BGOL are all of a sudden Steve Kerr fans, because when Kerr first got that contract a lot of folks on BGOL were confused; wondering why a UNPROVEN guy got such a good deal. Now all of a sudden yall putting him in the same line with Phil Jackson, Pop, etc etc.

Those Coach of the Year awards look good on your resume. You can demand more money when your contract run out. Keep that in mind when u think of the coaches who are good, but get low balled around contract time because of bs sports politics.

Jackson wasn't a great coach IMO, and I said he played a part in being fired. But the league is full of just... OK coaches that get to play out the string. Jacksons GS team won 50 plus games in the west man. That was a good team. They got better as players, and Kerr took the shackles off offensively. But that doesn't make him an elite coach.
And what's funny is curry has a bit of an ego too. Something tells me he may be a fucking jerk. And I like it.
Curry stays sonning people in games. I personally don't take a game that seriously. It's meant to be fun, and thatshe how we ball in real life. But what I don't understand... No... I do understand it. But I don't get the blatant hypocrisy in how Stephen gets covered and others dont.

But when does wisdom come into play? If someone asked you about how you felt about gays or CAC's in the work place would it be wise to answer the question honestly? Or does wisdom kick in and you say to yourself that this is not the correct platform or environment to answer question like these?
Look at how Damian Lillard answers very tough questions but he has the intelligence to answer them correctly. He is wise beyond his years. It is not hard to answer questions in a public forum the correct way

No where near a great coach..dude had assistant issues all over the place,was a true hypocrite,and the system that he was using didn't use their players to their strengths... and Jackson wasn't the gm he was just the coach...

Based on where the interview picked up it was obvious he was asked a question directly. He gave his opinion, and not even an unpopular one. He didn't drag anyone through the mud. He answered a question, and prefaced it with "my opinion." Again, I don't see unprofessional. I see a man who's long been tired of playing "nice" with the media and getting nowhere. Damned if you do, might as well say what you feel...

I think LBJ answers to questions like that all the time I definitely believe some of it is slick shit but he has his right to answer the questions the way he feels; me personally though I just never heard him say certain things about the other players and everyone knows that awards are just as much political as anything else....

Neither do I. Kerr took the shackles off, and gave them offensive freedom. That's made a ton of difference in how they play.

I like the narrative being set up here. OKC and GS will be a great match up (hopefully). I have no dog in any fight, but I want GS, OKC, or The Cavs to win a ship for various reasons. But the holy angel golden child of today for Steph versus the dark lord of yesteryear for Lebron, seems like an exciting setup to me.
And Lebron is speaking on his opinions that are directed to GS. I mean, that's pretty cool to me. He is letting it be known who he wants to see. While GS is basking in their success. I get the feeling that this shit been personal on both sides..i like that shit too...but when you awake the beast be prepared to deal with him....
