This... Kerr took over a team about to enter it's prime. Say what you want about Mark Jackson, but he got shafted in a way that is entirely too familiar. He got the job when no one wanted it. Had to deal with fragile Steph being hurt allot, then as soon as he starts to put something on paper that could be resume building. He gets fired. Now some of that was his own doing, but you can't say that team wasn't ready to take the next step. Kerr comes in team starts hot, it's all because of Kerr??? Kerr misses half the season Luke did the same job and Kerr is still the reason??? This is just a good team. Much like Phil gets all those props, but Phil hasn't done shit without the eras best fucking players. Kerr is overrated as fuck, I really want to see what Luke does in LA next season, because that will tell me allot as far as how good Kerr really is too.
We are all grown men and know what "acting professional" means and entails. So let's not act like we don't know what professionalism means.According to whom???

You can't discredit a coach because his team is not only talented but winning. Kerr has said on record that being a great coach requires the right place, a talented team and a bit of luck.Everything that Lebron says OR DOESNT SAY will be over analyzed...im sure he's aware of that by now.
As for GS, Kerr is a good coach, Steph is a good player. But I think a lot would agree that a lot of the props that Steph and Kerr are getting via the media, award votes etc are a bit over-hyped. Especially considering the fact that this "Warriors parade" is only 2 years old.
Its not Kerr's fault that he inherited something special, but the point is a lot of whats going on in GS is 80% players, 20% coach. All LBJ was saying is that the coach of the year award should go to a coach who ACTUALLY had to coach, not to a guy who sits down all game and let Steph dictate the game.
I find it funny that so many folks on BGOL are all of a sudden Steve Kerr fans, because when Kerr first got that contract a lot of folks on BGOL were confused; wondering why a UNPROVEN guy got such a good deal. Now all of a sudden yall putting him in the same line with Phil Jackson, Pop, etc etc.![]()

Cats just going to hate on whomever is successful.
I like Coach Jackson, but no he didn't.
It's funny because I was the only one on BGOL that called it out at the time, saying that Coach Jackson was the main reason that the team underachieved. What happens once Kerr is brought in? Close to back to back titles with the same core players.
Coach Jackson's inability to adjust is what proved to be his downfall in Golden State and the fact he denounced fags (which one of his bosses happened to be) was the final straw.
And what's funny is curry has a bit of an ego too. Something tells me he may be a fucking jerk. And I like it.Tired of passive aggressive LeBron. Dude has been crying like a bitch ever since Curry stole his shine.

Curry stays sonning people in games. I personally don't take a game that seriously. It's meant to be fun, and thatshe how we ball in real life. But what I don't understand... No... I do understand it. But I don't get the blatant hypocrisy in how Stephen gets covered and others dont.
But when does wisdom come into play? If someone asked you about how you felt about gays or CAC's in the work place would it be wise to answer the question honestly? Or does wisdom kick in and you say to yourself that this is not the correct platform or environment to answer question like these? As an athlete being asked questions about the goings on in your profession, and answering the honestly I would deem being professional. He's not rude, he makes himself available, and does what he's asked to do. Period. You can not like what he says, you can make an argument that he may not see the bigger picture when he answers, or maybe he knows exactly what he's saying. I don't know, or even really care. But you cannot call him unprofessional.

Look at how Damian Lillard answers very tough questions but he has the intelligence to answer them correctly. He is wise beyond his years. It is not hard to answer questions in a public forum the correct way
Using that logic, how many games did Phil Jackson actually coach? What about pop? Etc. ...Kerr coached 49 games this year (ten playoff games included).
Steph missed 7 of those Games (six in the playoffs).
Which means Kerr had to coach a total of 7 games this year.....LoL
Props to LBJ for calling out the bs
Then you would lack wisdom. No disrespect, but fuck you and YOUR idea of professionalism.
That is unprofessional. If you win an award the only thing I need to do is say "Good Job Mt. Yukon, well deserved my brotha" and keep it moving. Why try and dull your shine? You are fair to question his motives, intellect, media savvy, but you cant call him unprofessional for doing what hes asked to do. Thats my argument.
Edit my bad...I thought you were talking about Phil. My bad brothaJackson wasn't a great coach IMO, and I said he played a part in being fired. But the league is full of just... OK coaches that get to play out the string. Jacksons GS team won 50 plus games in the west man. That was a good team. They got better as players, and Kerr took the shackles off offensively. But that doesn't make him an elite coach.
No where near a great coach..dude had assistant issues all over the place, was a true hypocrite, and the system that he was using didn't use their players to their strengths... and Jackson wasn't the gm he was just the coach...Jackson wasn't a great coach IMO, and I said he played a part in being fired. Mark Jackson not Phil Jackson11 NBA titles as a coach is not great? Yall have some high as standards then![]()

My bad bruh.Mark Jackson not Phil Jackson
My bad manMark Jackson bruh...
I think LBJ answers to questions like that all the time I definitely believe some of it is slick shit but he has his right to answer the questions the way he feels; me personally though I just never heard him say certain things about the other players and everyone knows that awards are just as much political as anything else....That is unprofessional. If you win an award the only thing I need to do is say "Good Job Mt. Yukon, well deserved my brotha" and keep it moving. Why try and dull your shine?

I totally agree with that, I just don't like the posters who say because of Jackson or Golden State would have been this way if they kept Jackson, etc.. I don't believe thatHey man, I'm not saying Mark Jackson didn't put himself where he is. Just that a coach in the NBA is typically only judged by wins and losses. By those standard he should have anot her job...

I get the feeling that this shit been personal on both sides..i like that shit too...but when you awake the beast be prepared to deal with him....I like the narrative being set up here. OKC and GS will be a great match up (hopefully). I have no dog in any fight, but I want GS, OKC, or The Cavs to win a ship for various reasons. But the holy angel golden child of today for Steph versus the dark lord of yesteryear for Lebron, seems like an exciting setup to me.
And Lebron is speaking on his opinions that are directed to GS. I mean, that's pretty cool to me. He is letting it be known who he wants to see. While GS is basking in their success. This shit is fucking beautiful. Fuck the Xs and Os of the game. Let's make it a little personal. I like this and I'm pretty hype to see how things go.
