Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

In my opinion..... (aside from Jon Snow) tonight's BIG WINNER was......... Melisandre.

Her character went from 'MOST HATED'............. to 'MOST NEEDED' :o....... in one. single. episode.:lol:

Deep down, as they watched the last 5 minutes of the episode.... people was thinking: "I'll give you a 'PASS' for all your previous heinous shit..... IF.... you actually REVIVE this nucca Jon Snow before them end credits roll"

:lol::giggle::blush::happy:

that was Meera Reed
Oh shit. The dude's Joren Reed sister.

Thanks, that's what I get for fucking cleaning up the kitchen while I'm watching the show.

What happened to Sir Alistair Thorne? When the Wildlings came in what did they do with him?

Most Hated? I think that's a stretch. Hated, sure. But people hate Ramsey way more than her. And though I think Jon actually coming back will do wonders for her, I kinda feel like it was Davos' belief (and possibly some other shit) that really made it happen. Had it just been up to her, he would still be cold on that table.

She was probably Top 3 Most Hated characters ever... last season.... when she burned (Shireen) Stannis' daughter alive.

Just saying.

she didnt burn shit. Stanis did that.

Just saying. lol
She actually lit the fire. Stannis gave the order, but just watched.
She could have refused. And let him do it himself.

Just saying.

And she's the one who CONVINCED him to do it.
She was the very 1st person to even SUGGEST it.

He wasn't even gonna do that shit, initially.

Like I said....she was hated no doubt. Me personally....that episode where they burned the girl was where I started feeling differently about Mel. I saw the G in her. When the dude told Stannis half his troops deserted.....the look on her face....that shit was priceless. Next scene she was bouncing.

I realized right then that she was smarter than just some religious zealot. She knows how to read the landscape and make moves accordingly. On a show like this, always gotta respect that trait to some degree.

Jon's 2 homies (Tormund & Dolores Edd) locked him up in the dungeon... with Olly.

Alliser & Olly were the only 2 who wanted to actually fight the bigass Giant 'Won Won'.
Everyone else said... "Fuck it. I yield. I yield" :dunno: and immediately dropped their swords like Sam on his first day at Castle Black.

Wouldn't it be ironic if the wildlings end up being the new Night's Watch?

Yeah, that would be crazy ironic.

But them Wildlings is trynna "get as far south as south goes". and I don't bame them. :smh:

NOBODY is gonna want to be at Castle Black whenever the Army of the Dead shows up. :smh:
Not even the Night's Watch. :smh:

Ssshhheeeeiiiittt.... those zombies will probably form a human ladder.... (faster than Voltron coming together)... and just climb over each others backs and get up over that wall in no time.

They gonna steamroll over that shit.

Better of fighting them nuccas at Winterfell. or Harrenhall. or at the Vale. or some shit.
(where you can't get surrounded, or boxed-in easily :dunno:)

Just saying.

Man, you auditioning for @stretchwallz II, The Stretchening, offering even more stretched out observations lol. I never get enough hilarious analysis

*spoiler*

Man when Roose said "you will always be my first born" and jolted..i thought he was the one that stabbed ramsey...and it didnt surprise me, i was like "yeah i saw that coming".
Then he started dropping and i was like wtf?! THAT surprised me, didnt think ramsey would be able to kill him..his father seemed to be the only person who could control him..karma is a bitch, son did him the same way roose did rob stark.

^^ Agreed. Yeah, it’s either Theon… or Rickon Stark.:smh: ... or maybe Osha :smh:

(Depends on his name, tho :dunno:)

What I mean is…

The last time we saw them at the abandoned windmill in season 3 episode 9... the wildling Osha was taking Rickon to Last Hearth, which is the home of the Stark Bannerman: House Umber.

And in tonight’s episode, Ramsey Bolton said he only needs the Karstarks, Mandelys & Umbers to defeat the rest of the Northern Lords.

In the trailer, my guess is that the guy who says “I have a gift for you”… if his name is 'Small Jon Umber', then he probably has Rickon or Osha.. and he is the son of this guy: 'Great Jon Umber'.

But if his name is anything else… then I agree that he probably caught Theon trying to make it back home. :smh:

Theon. Rickon. or Osha. :smh:

Its gonna be the LAST episode for one of them. :smh:

It can't be be Theon, he's just gotten away and started his path to redemption.

Umber's were loyal to Robb til the end. They will not have forgotten Bolton/Frey betrayal. The only way an Umber would show up with Rickon is if they were using him for some means of gaining Ramsay's trust to get payback at him later.

Osha showing up without Rickon doesn't make much sense. Now that Theon is gone no one would know who Osha was, she'd probably just get fed to the dogs on G.P.

I'm going to assume the Frey / Bolton alliance is officially dissolved after this latest bit of savagery by Ramsay.
Ramsey's time is coming. He's only survived this long because he's been his father's enforcer and he's brutally effective when pointed in the right direction.

His father foreshadowed his own demise in the episode

Peeps saying that Ramsey is cold blooded, gotta remember that Roose told him to his face that he straight raped and murdered his moms. He was constantly teasing him with the baby's on the way thing. In Ramsey's world he had no choice. Actually, Roose should have been on his p's and q's looking for the double cross. It's exactly what he would have done. Like father like son.

While Stretch takes his time getting up in here, here's an interesting recap to peruse:

Have you ever figured out that one of your friends was throwing you a surprise party and, rather than say yes or no when you confront her about it, she just says "Maybe..." -- as if that is supposed to make you unsure that there'll be a surprise party, even though you know the whole time that there will be? That is exactly how Game of Thrones and HBO handled the death and rebirth of Jon Snow.

nailed it

Here is the thing to consider here. While Ramsay THINKS he has the Umbers and Manderlys in his pocket, that might not be the case. Keep in mind that Wendell Manderly, the heir to White Harbor, and several Umber bannermen were slaughtered at the Red Wedding. If you go back to that scene, you will see him sitting next to Rob Stark. All of this was made possible by Roose's betrayal.

Plus we haven't seen GreatJon Umber since season 2. So it is very presumptious to assume that they are all aligned with him. Only the Karstarks, because of Robb Stark's stupidity, are fully on board with the Boltons. The North is by no means settled.

I wonder how Bran and Arya's new found skills will impact the GOT universe. We've seen the Child of the Forest tell the Reed girl that once he's done training he will need her help when going back. So we know that his skills will have a direct impact, but how? Ayra is going to become a Jedi Knight but will she only be able to use those skills as a Faceless Man? If she decides to go back to fight for Winterfell, will her skills be taken away for turning on the faith of the Many Faced God? Also, how will all these wars take place in matters of importance? The Walkers, The North, Kings Landing and let's not forget you got Tyrion and Daneryas together (although the mother of dragons is in Dothraki hands right now) to be a major threat to Westeros as a whole. The end game is very intriguing to say the least.

The best part of their entrance, however, was the one Night's Watchman who shot the giant with an arrow. Please. That's like trying to poison the drinking water of Las Vegas by throwing one tab of LSD over the Hoover Dam. That giant took the arrow out of his coat, put it in his pocket, and saved it for later in case he needed a toothpick after he feasted on a dinner of crow.:lol2:

even if the wytes / zombies do that the wall is also protected by magic - notice the white walkers never come anywhere near it...
I think Bran's story will touch on this and what the Night King is working on to defeat that magic

I have a feeling with Ramsay heading to Castle Black he'll play a part in whatever the Night King is scheming, making him the clear cut Big Bad.

Ramsey dont know the wildlings are at the wall though. He said he would take a small force cuz he's just expecting to find a handful of crows. When they roll up on Tormund, Wun Wun and crew...and the Red Woman...all freshly motivated by the resurrection of Jon Snow...I think we're gonna be pleased with the outcome.
