* One of my fav rap groups EVER...I don't why they don't get mentioned more often. Old School and New School they really were able to rhyme with anyone. If you know your history Greg Nic's flow is on some classic call/response, street light in park jam MC-ing and Smooth was VERY lyrical. This was actually a big hit miss these guys. And that sample lol!!!

There was a magic 10 year period where, because it fresh, evolving and experimental, rap was magical. This song was not up to the lyrical standard of a Rakom's songs but it. Just. Bangs. Love this song and colabs between duos amd groups from that time period. I don't think anything tops a little known cut - "uptowns kick'n it" - though for me.
