Redskins reportedly the front runners to get Josh Norman

ugggghhhhh....fuck....... deadskins better team than the 9ers with a better qb and chip kelly aint there either. i hate when players go through this shit.their ego and the team's management egos can be a muthafucka. now a championship team fucked up completely.

skins still have'nt signed him. now i hear the bears are in the mix. Much as i want him on the squad, no corner is worth 14-16M. (spoke to my cousin in DC, and he told me skins proposed 4-5 yrs at 14M) skins have too many holes to pay him that. For that reason i hope we pass.

i dont see it anywhere. did the skins sign him

nvm. according to Ian rapapaport, i see that he did in fact sign for 5 yrs.

:smh:

Jenkins got 5/62 I had Josh getting 5/70.

13.5 woulda been market rate. 15 is overpay.

Well, he was definitely gonna get paid more than Jenkins. They have been so frugal in FA up this point, i think they could overpay a bit..I just hope they have a early out in case things go bad.

Yalls GM plan was to avoid big name free agents.looks like he doesn't stick to his word.

Who new Norman would be available? The only reason they were able to sign him in the 1st place is because they didn't sign any big name FA's.....until today.

I took his statement in saying that was they weren't interested in throwing money towards a big name and messing up their cap space.

I suppose they were thinking about signing quality depth guys 1st. After pretty much signing only "depth guys" I suppose they realized they had enough to reach for a top talent after all. I just read they will have plenty of Cap for next year, somehow around 50 million.

50 mil guaranteed for a 29 year old corner who most people hadn't heard of until last year? That's the deadskins for ya.
He just turned 28. He'll turn 29 towards the end of next season. I heard of him midway through 2014...he's part of the reason I drafted Carolina's Defense for Fantasy this past year...

How can you be?

He ain't good enough for this

Did Revis even get 51 mill guranteed?

Got damn

But the Deadskins will Deadskin

Yea my boy text me like we didn't get Norman!

I'm like yea but 75 million. Nate Clements makes me always say never pay a defensive back no kind of money as a free agent ever again. One we drafted? Sure? A free agent? fuck no. cause nate clements.

The division will be between The Cowboys and Redskins. The Giants will finish ahead of the Eagles though..

Depends on what the Cowboys do in the draft. Elliot or Ramsey and they are dangerous, I'm an Ohio State fan and I don't think bosa is better than the two prospects I mentioned. The redskins will be trash

Norman is a better player but the most recent example is Byron Maxwell

Cowboys gave Carr 50 million and even though it wasn't fully guaranteed minus whale be cuz he about to complete the damn contract

oh LIGHT years better
but that shit don't work out for US not in the history of our franchise has grossly overpaying a free agent lead to a ring.
we even got Prime on a player deal lol

Exactly why I hope they draft Bosa. But with two QB's going off the board with picks 1 and 2, the Cowboys will have the opportunity to draft a top 2 talent overall. It will be hard even for them to mess that up.

Skins are the most balanced team in the division and have the most depth. It just comes down to Cousins. Nobody in the East has a running game that scares you or a formidable Defense, and the Giants and Eagles are depending on FA's on defense even more than the Redskins. On top of that the Giants and Eagles have new head coaches..and the Eagles also have a new DC.

Oh god, let this be true

Did you watch that game? Josh shut down ODB all game until they started throwing blows at each other. ODB caught that TD pass only after the circus those two had.

I still don't understand why they didn't dump that 13.5 million contract and Carr this year.
