Let me explain for you niggas not in the Bay Area. Average rent in SF is 3400 for a one bedroom and 2000 per kid for day care. Median home price in SF is 1 million for a POS old ass house bordering in the hood. Oakland average rent is now 2600 for a 1 bedroom thanks to SF pushing people out over here. Home price is pushing 800k . We pay 1800 for daycare of two kids. You telling me having a family don't mean much here? Foh. Groceries alone for a family of 4 runs damn near 300 per week.
I did over well 6 and thinking about driving for Uber lol
When the wife came off the job we lost 75k that shit really hurt... I may have to move to another city

Yup. Interesting discussions about minimum wage rates too in various provinces and states. Here in B.C. minimum wage is around $10.25 - 10.50 or so. Some other parts of North America are talking about $15 min' wage, etc. Hell, 20 years ago it was $7 - 7.50 here ... so it's only gone up $3 per hour over the course of 2 decades. That's pretty eye-opening.

Sounds like you're describing Washington D.C. Damn near everything near a metro station is a high rise building that didn't exist 5/10/15 years ago.
