What kind of tint do you guys have on your car?
I'm installing tint on my car. Black exterior and interior.

I used to have 35% on my other black on black car and it was too dark. This time I'm thinking of 50%.

What's the best film for the money?

Any suggestion for a good installer in Atlanta?

Whatever is the state legal limit.
Black/35%
I just let the pros do it.....i dont know the brand of tint they use.

Black on black you should be good at 50%.

Personally i wouldnt go over 30% on anything. Personal preference.

I have %30 on a black car with black interior and it's not dark enough for me.
I need at least %20 or maybe %15.
I live in a state with no limit.

I personally always go for 35% but I've never had a black on black car. Go with 50 or call around. Some brands come in odd %'s like Llumar offers a 40

I'm lost. I thought the lower the percentage the darker the tint. In Virginia I put legal (35%) on at first. I was pissed because that shit didn't even look tinted. Then I went back and had it redone at 25% and it was nice and dark. Not too dark where you can't see inside or get pulled over and cited for dark tint.

Yes. Number is percentage of sunlight the film allows to pass through. So lower number is darker tint. And yea, if you have light car and interior 35% is a waste of time and money imo.

Yes, lower the percentage, the darker the tint. I just want something light to make the car look finished. I don't want it to be too dark. I might just do 40%.

Egbon Jagu,

I have 35% on my car with black interior. (Black on black)

Luckily with the panoramic roof and moonroof, it lets in light so that its not too dark. This is my second car he has worked on. Happy with it.

I got it done off Cobb Parkway.

50% on the black interior.. At night nobody can't see you in there and during the day they see a shadow lol

I have 35% and my interior is black. 50 is too light. Trust me do 35%. I have all 5 windows done which is illegal in CA and cops don't even notice. Anything lower than 35 is too dark. 35 is classy.

non metallic, i think it's porcelain, the metallic stuff will fuck with your devices...

Nah, I think you got it backwards. The lower the percentage, the darker the tint. I actually went to see it yesterday and 50% will be perfect. it's just a slight tint.

I'm going with formula one pinnacle ceramic 50%.

Thank you, my brother. I might check them out too.

25% on the car doors, 10% on the back window and a 10% strip across the front visor area. The visor area strip will reduce the amount of light tremendously into the car.

I have 30% on a white car with a grey interior. It's not dark enough for me. I'm thinking about going down to 15 or 20 but I don't want to get pulled over.

I have 25% on my black on black car. It's dark as fuck. Should have went with 35%. Get the ceramic tint not that cheap shit. Had 35% on the benz when they made the double pane windows and it didn't look like anything was on them. But from here on out 35% or nothing at all.

Thanks. Might even go with 40% And definitely ceramic tint. I got a quote for $330 , buts that's because we are doing my wife's front windows too. It's normally $400.
