Chiefs - N/A
Seminoles - offensive mascot, as it's a white dude dressed as a Native, but they pay the Seminole tribe to use the name. If they're cool with it, I'm cool with it.

ESPN Asked Bomani Jones to Cover Up the "Caucasians" Shirt He Wore on Mike & Mike
Bomani Jones was filling in for Mike Golic on Mike & Mike this morning. He honored Golic’s heritage by wearing a “Caucasians” shirt, based on the Cleveland Indians shirt and Chief Wahoo logo, but with a $ replacing the feathers. (If you want your own version, by the way, they are made by Shelf Life Clothing Company).
According to TMZ, “ESPN freaked out” when they saw the shirt, and asked that he covered up.
We reached out to Bomani Jones to see if he had any response to the report that ESPN asked him to cover up the shirt. He responded with “no comment.”
An ESPN spokesperson provided the following when asked if Jones was requested to cover up the shirt:
“As the show progressed, we felt Bomani made his point and had openly discussed why he was wearing the shirt, and we wanted to keep the focus to the topics of the day.”
Jones did not fully cover up the shirt at any point in the show; he did partially zip up his hooded sweatshirt.

"Heavy worded" and "over enunciating" isn't just a black or white thing. I double-majored in English and Communication. I work in the media business. I have a sensitivity to how people communicate especially in broadcast. Personally, I don't find Bomani's delivery palatable. I don't find Chris Berman's either. Or Skip Bayless. SAS is awful. I like Ryan Clark's a lot. Jalen Rose is cool. I rock with Michael Wilbon. Michael Smith is likeable. I like Jon Gruden's way. I think Chauncey Billups needs some more work. Michelle Beadle is annoying. I can go on. It's what you say and how you say it that I pay attention to. Like I said, I'm cool with the substance of Bomani most of the time, my issue is his packaging of it.

Did journalism for a while. Wrote for a bunch of music magazines. Worked as an assistant editor in a special efx house working on films, tv, and commercials. Did marketing for some apparel brands. Then went digital and built websites for a bunch of brands and celebs. Was a creative director for a startup. Then went into advertising and did commercials and above-the-fold advertising. Then went brand side and worked for a telcom in their brand dept. Then went on my own consulting and worked with all sorts of brands doing content and branding. Nike. K-Swiss. Hennessey. Ford. Burger King. Jaguar. Alizé. It goes on. Been back and forth agency side and consulting doing content and branding for years now. Now I'm consulting on the side as I build my own thing.
