Larenz Tate performance as O dog was Oscar worthy. To bad the academy didn't recognize it. :smh:

He was as crazy and unreasonable as Deniro or Pesci could ever be, the friend that you can't talk down when he starts up, you have to either drag him out or get ready to rumble.
Unfortunately the knee jerk reaction is Deniro and Pesci were conveyed as untouchable and a chronic problem, Odog was someone they would call the cops on and the problem is solved - the academy's perception is 'Menace 2 Society' should have been 5 minutes long.

That's why I went with
  1. DENZEL WASHINGTON - Det. Alonzo Harris, Training Day
    and
  2. WESLEY SNIPES - Nino Brown, New Jack City

Gotta go with "Fast Black" Morgan Freeman... that was one terrifying motherfucker when I first saw him, and that scene posted is every hoe's worst nightmare. The ultimate definition of fear, power and respect.
Think of the roles this dude has played, from Sesame Street, pimp, yassaboss, President and God..! And all of them played with a master's craft.
Nowadays he can afford to phone in his performances (Wanted), but this dude was a beast!

Denzel, o dog, and Tate even though his role was small. Terrence Howard shouldn't be on here. His character was a bitch. If any body Cutty or the dude who owned the pool hall

Do not sleep on the performance of Cheadle as Mouse...to outshine Denzel in his prime is no easy feat.

Mouse was one the most unpredictable funny chilling killers ever.

I haven't seen devil in a blue dress in a long time. Is it on Blu-ray? The one thing I do remember about that movie is Cheadle's performance.

I still gotta go with Larenz Tate in Menace though! Outstanding performance! In the behind the scenes they said he actually had real gangbangers believing he was about that life for real. Lol

Can't vote for any without adding two more choices.

Samuel L Jackson Jules, Pulp Fiction

And, although it's television, the GOAT has to be Giancarlo Esposito Gustavo Fring, Breaking Bad

how dare you forget my nig cutty

To this DAY I still call everybody young blood. Even cats 20+ years older than I am, lol.

I was going to vote for Jeffrey Wright as Peoples Hernandez, man, I thought that dude was truly Cuban. Dude had my ass. Did that role well as fuck. Then I saw Mouse, aka Don Cheadle and I gotta give it to him. Anybody bad enough to steal a movie from Denzel Washington should be recognized.

"I didn't shoot him...I choked him.......well how the fuck was I supposed to save your ass messing around with him?" - Mouse in Devil in a Blue Dress. :roflmao3:
