Gerrymandering explained, please watch.

The sad thing is you don't realize that you and people like you are the reason all these types of things are effective.

And so proud of it as well...
System is rigged top to bottom. People been voting for years. In fact voting is up all across the board. But the problem gets worse each election cycle. That's a sign that something wrong with the system. And yeah I'm proud that I don't participate blindly in a broken system. Its not the abstainers that's the problem. Its the ignorant enablers.

Gotta laugh at the mofos out there that wonder why I don't vote.
The main reason you wont catch me in a voting booth. People swear up and down that their voice counts. Look how many Bernie/Clinton/Trump threads there are on BGOL alone.

Say what you want, but the system works for the elite.

Mid terms..historic low turnout. Main problem

If you fail to show up on the field of battle, you can't be surprised when your enemy seizes all the territory and starts dictating terms of surrender

A battle requires two parties that aren't seeing eye to eye with no puppet masters behind them.

When we reach THAT point, gimme a ring.

If they were seeing eye to eye there would be no battle.

You already gave up your voice stay out of political threads. Why would you even want to read them?

Let's explore your stance since you want stop talking.

What do you think would happen if everyone didn't vote?

There will always be a small group voting and I guarantee that group would be white. Do you think white supremacy is at its worse current day?

Look at the world around you in its current and past state and PROVE to me that voting is real..

I'll wait.

My world yes.

ACA has been a godsend for me. If people would have voted in 2010 President Obama would have accomplished greater things.

If people would have voted in 2000 we wouldn't be 17 trillion in debt.
There wouldn't be 500,000 lives lost...4500 Americans.

You are on point. Ignore the trolling.

You can't tell these folks nothing. These are the same types waiting on white folk to uplift them.

I laugh because you don't vote and therefore you are apart of the problem.
And lets look at the inverse of that. All of you numbskulls that have been voting all your lives are still complaining about the bullshit system you perpetuate. Now who's the bigger fool. The person that denounces the system everyone is complaining about or the person that enables it?

You don't even realize that you are actually enabling it. Politicans don't care to have large turnouts. They like small turnouts that favor them. So if some us truly challengin the ststem. They won't win thanks to folks like you.
I would really like to know your alternative (besides not voting).

You play the game then change the rules. Offense 101 from the Republican playbook: reversal of key parts in the Civil rights voting act = voter Id laws, extreme gerrymandering (although dems do it to but the rethuglicans have all but made it impossible to lose), Republican dominance in the south (state houses and governorships). Anything to suppress the vote. Why make their job easy and control/influence everything from educational funding to how much they take out your paycheck?

Shit is rigged, but there's only a few ways to change it: vote to elect someone with your similar thoughts/views or overthrow the government. The former is easier.

Revolution. That's what's needed. You do realize that the complaints people have in this country today have not changed for hundreds of years by the citizenry. That means that what you're doing does not work. You should go on youtube and find old speeches by politicians from the 50s forward. They are whining about the same damn problems today's politicians are whining about. At what point does the rational mind say "well shit! nothing changes when we keep doing the same thing!" When enough people adopt my mindset that change will come. If people remain like you then in another 50 years we'll be complaining about the same shit thinking voting will make it all better. And people like you will still be delusional about a system that simply does not work.

"You say you want a revolution"

So what are you doing that is or will start a revolution? I hope you don't think not voting is revolutionary. The vast majority of people already don't vote.

What astounds me is that through everything we've learned and know about big government, coroporate influence, politcal divisons etc.. many still can't connect the dots.

Simpletons don't understand that the power isn't in the voting booth but in your wallet. Support certain entities over others, and watch how quick these bastards on K Street flip the script. Real power is green and doesn't come with a "I Voted" sticker.

But I don't bother with the sheep anymore. They're stuck in the 1800's frame of mind that this cesspool we call these United States are democratic and actually here for their interests. Let em vote till the cows come here under the impression that their voices are heard.

The capitalists will keep on winning this way.

That's not something a smart person would post on a public porn board. But rest assured I'm not an armchair revolutionary hiding behind a keyboard. ;)

That's not very revolutionary of you.
Well that's ok. You've got your methods and I've got mine. I like being able to laugh at people the day after election day when none of their dreams come true and they realize they're in the same predicament they were in before they voted. Its the ultimate "I told you so". People seem to think that all they need to do to transform a broken corrupt society is show up at the polls. Its an exercise in futility. How about you run down everything you want to see changed in society that will directly affect your life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. Then go out and vote this fall and lets reconvene in a year and tell me how the candidate you chose made all those magical things happen for you. In the meantime I'll keep doing what I do and we'll see who gets the better results. The difference is I know politicians aren't primarily concerned about the welfare of the constituents and I have no expectations that they ever will so I'd rather chart my own course. You on the other hand still believe in the white man's system so you do exactly what he wants you to do: "Show up and shut up"

One things is for sure. I do not rely on the government to change my life. My life is impacted by the choices I make.
One of the problems is that people don't vote but complain. People vote and then do nothing afterwards.
Voting just vote never solved anything but neither did not voting.
