Deborah Jeane Palfrey and her former attorney, Montgomery Blair Sibley, after a 2007 federal court hearing

WASHINGTON — The former lawyer of Deborah Jeane Palfrey — dubbed the “D.C. Madam” — has filed a motion to allow the release of her escort services’ records, saying they “may contain information relevant to the upcoming presidential election.”

Palfrey committed suicide in 2008 following a racketeering conviction.

Montgomery Blair Sibley, whose legal strategies and motions often included antagonizing opposing counsel and judges, has filed a judicial conduct complaint against Chief Judge Richard Roberts, of the District Court of the District of Columbia.

Sibley, whose license to practice law was suspended in 2008 for three years by the D.C. Court of Appeals, remains under several 2007 restraining orders, which prohibited him from releasing Palfrey’s records.

Sibley won’t say how the records could affect the election.

“I believe the information in my possession from the subpoena returns in the ‘D.C. Madam’ case may be relevant to the upcoming election,” Sibley told WTOP in an email. “As I am presently restrained by Court Order from releasing that information, I feel obligated to seek release from those restraining orders.”

Palfrey’s escort service, Pamela Martin and Associates, operated in the nation’s capital from 1996 through 2007.

Sibley claims to have “815 names and 40 escort agency records,” which have remained under seal.

In July 2007, Palfrey and her attorney released her phone records for public viewing. After the release of the phone numbers, Louisiana Sen. David Vitter acknowledged being a customer of Palfrey’s service.

Judge Gladys Kessler ordered Palfrey and her attorney to cease distributing her bookkeeping records.

In April 2008, a federal jury in Washington found Palfrey guilty of racketeering, money laundering, and mail fraud.

Palfrey faced a maximum of 55 years in prison. Two weeks after her conviction, she committed suicide in Florida, in her mother’s shed.

Sibley, who in recent years has achieved a Masters Degree in Cyber Security Policy, and is the manager of Privacy Compliance Consulting, is representing himself in his attempt to be released from the restraining order.

In his recent complaint, Sibley claims Roberts prohibited his filing a motion about the judicial order.

“Chief Judge Richard W. Roberts had physical possession of the Motion and had directed the Clerk’s Office to refused (sic) to file it,” Sibley wrote.

A spokesperson for Roberts declined comment.

Deborah Jeane Palfrey (March 18, 1956 – May 1, 2008)[1] (dubbed the D.C. Madam by the news media) operated Pamela Martin and Associates, an escort agency in Washington, D.C. Although she maintained that the company's services were legal, she was convicted on April 15, 2008 of racketeering, using the mail for illegal purposes,[1][2] and money laundering.[2] Slightly over two weeks later, facing a prison sentence of five or six years, she was found hanged. Autopsy results and the final police investigative report concluded that her death was a suicide

Shit... she died in 2008, Ted Cruz didn't get elected to the Senate until 2012.

Trump has no shame about his carousing.

Does anyone care that Bill still gets pussy on the side? Maybe

But who does that leave?

Kasich?

Bernie???

Dude said that if the SC doesn't respond to him in a timely manner, he's going to "consider the gag order void" and release them anyway. This could get VERY interesting.

:please: Please let them have something to do with Clinton. Get that bitch out of their via her husband so Sanders has a clear path.

Given his history, alleged or otherwise, I don't think you'll find enough people with a surplus of fucks. Now, if it's Kasich or Cruz, that's a whole 'nother bag of cats. Btw, this attorney has a rep for being a loose cannon, so this fool might actually do it.

I wonder which name could affect the current election.... cause Cruz has only been in the Senate since what, 2012? He was in Texas for like 10 years before that as solicitor General. Kasich and Bernie are the only two male candidates who were in D.C. during the time her escort agency was active. Doesn't mean Cruz couldn't make his way to D.C. or fly somebody out, but that seems unlikely.

Ted Cruz name in them records?

now this is a half joke... but a woman can order up a chick from an escort agency... and Hillary was in the senate between like 2002 and 2008, soooooo

Hell they targeting the wrong Clinton...

Dragging up infidelity on Bushwick Bill would be as meaningless as handing out speeding tickets at the Indy 500.

Hillary being a carper cleaner is one of the worst kept secrets in politics! It's been eluded to in two biographies on the Clintons and in the early 2000's got to the point that she had to address it (denied it).

Hell, her being a publicly outed bull dyke might help her.

In fact the only front runner this could hurt IS Sanders!

SCOTUS shuts down lawyer’s attempt to release D.C. madam’s black book

Disgraced lawyer Montgomery Blair Sibley’s plans to expose which 2016 electoral candidates were up to their waists in the D.C. Madam’s escorts hit a snag. SCOTUS shot down Sibley’s attempt to lift the 2007 gag order placed on the phone records of more than 800 Washington insiders who patronized the late Deborah Jeane Palfrey’s escort service, Pamela Martin and Associates.

From NBC News:

His application was directed to Chief Justice John Roberts, the justice assigned to emergency appeals from the Washington, D.C. area. Roberts denied it without seeking a response from any other party, a sign of how little merit Roberts found in the application.

How seriously was Justice Roberts supposed to take a disbarred birther who had previously tried to sue the Supreme Court for treason?

Anyway, it’s not like Sibley’s gonna let a little thing like the law get in his way, especially since he’s already lost the credentials needed to practice it. As you’ll recall, Sibley claimed that he pulled the ultimate Bond villain move ofuploading the contents of the D.C. Madam’s black book to the internet with a timer set to release the information should anything “happen” to him.RadarOnline already heavily implicated Ted Cruz as one of the clients listed in the book.

I guess at this point all we can do is wait and see if Sibley is going to let a little thing like the highest court in all the land stop him from releasing highly explosive information.

Ted Cruz's phone number 'appeared in madam's phone list', magazine claims

Ted Cruz with his wife, Heidi

Ted Cruz’s private life has come under renewed scrutiny amid fresh allegations that his telephone number was listed in a "black book" of contacts kept by a Washington madam who provided prostitutes to politicians.

The claim adds a fresh twist to recent allegations that the Republican presidential candidate - locked in a battle with Donald Trump for his party’s nomination - cheated on his wife Heidi by having five mistresses.

Mr Cruz, who had previously dismissed those suggestions as “complete garbage and lies” spread by Mr Trump’s supporters, denied categorically having extramarital affairs on Monday.

In a town hall interview with Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, he declared: “I have always been faithful to my wife.”

The initial allegations were published last month by the National Enquirer, a supermarket magazine that Mr Cruz has depicted as being owned by a friend of Mr Trump and briefed by one of his aides, Roger Stone.

But as the candidate issued his latest denial, it emerged that the magazine was about to give the rumours fresh impetus by reporting in its next edition that Mr Cruz’s number is believed to appear in the contacts list of the late Deborah Palfrey, who ran an escort agency in Washington offering prostitutes to wealthy clients for $300 (£210) an hour. Palfrey hanged herself in 2008 before she could serve a 55-year jail sentence imposed after a court convicted her of charges that included racketeering and money laundering.

Montgomery Sibley, her former lawyer, has appealed to the United States supreme court for permission to publish the contents of the so-called “black book” - said to contain 15,000 pages of phone records.

Mr Sibley told the National Enquirer that “time is of the essence” in publishing because it has phone numbers containing information “relevant to voters before they cast their ballot”.

A lower court has already barred him from releasing the numbers or naming names.

Investigators have told the National Enquirer that the numbers referred to by Mr Sibley were probably those of Mr Cruz, reported RadarOnline website, which said it had seen a copy of the magazine’s forthcoming report, due to be published on Wednesday.

“If Montgomery Sibley has what he says he has, it has to be Cruz,” said Wayne Madsen, who belonged to a team of reporters who investigated Palfrey’s business for Hustler, a monthly pornographic magazine.

“Going on what I know about the other male candidates still in the race, it isn’t any of them, and Palfrey didn’t provide call boys, so it wasn’t Hillary.”

Dan Moldea, another investigator who examined three of the four boxes of contacts Mr Sibley gave him before the lawyer was subjected to a court gagging order, said he could not recall any other current candidates being on the list.

“I would remember if Bernie Sanders or Trump or John Kasich were in the list,” he told the National Enquirer. “The only name I would not have recognised at the time was Cruz.”

Even if Mr Cruz’s name were in the contacts book, it would not necessarily invalidate his denial of marital infidelity, as the numbers cover the period 1996 to 2006 - which includes a timespan before Mr Cruz married his wife in 2001. It is not clear when his name is said to have featured.

Mr Cruz, who has attempted to woo the Christian evangelical vote, worked in Washington in the late 1990s as a clerk for two supreme court justices. He worked for George W Bush’s presidential campaign team in 2000. Although he was solicitor general in Texas between 2003 and 2008, he only became a nationally known figure after his election to the US senate in 2012.
