Good questions. None of those Batman graphic novels have anything campy no jokes or "fun".

I love gal Gadot's wonder Woman.
I didn't like Jesse Eisenberg, dude was hamming it up in all his scenes.
Ben Affleck did a decent job as Bats.
Cavill did a decent SuperMan.
The cameo's of Cyborg, Flash, and AquaMan were hella weak.
There was so many plotholes...
Also I felt like I was watching 5 different films all at once.
I am not mad at this movie because I saw it for free.
I give BVS with its clunky somewhat rushed paced movie a solid 5.75 out of 10.

Man.... I liked this flick a lot. As I said I came out wanting to do some pushups. It is Batman's movie and an intro into Justice Leagues movies.
I know MOS 2 is going to be a lighter flick. May peep it again. It is a good time to be a movie fan.

This movie sucked so much ass. I'm not spoiling anything in this thread, but this movie had zero plot... It was too fucking long.... They fucked up lex... And there was too much random shit.
Anyone who preferred DK Rises over the TDK I can't take them serious. Rises was an awful movie.

my thoughts.the acting was good from all the major characters..especially Ben Affleck as Batman..he gets props for being a really dark, brutal Batman..but the main thing I had an issue about this movie that brought it down some..the story..there were multiple storylines that didn't really tie into each very well and at times all over the place..but I can't tell if it was lazy writing or really bad editing...I guess i will have to wait until the director's cut thats Rated R comes out later this year.

out that series i still like batman begins over every 1 of them.. that had the better story.. dark knight had the best badguy but take away joker or pay attention to any scene he's not in and dat movie is really so so... joker literally carried dark knight.. batman begins for overall movie

Just got back from it and damn I'm feeling disappointed. I won't go as far to say that I saw a bad movie tonight, but I'm really disappointed. I'm assuming we can talk spoilers in here:
- Damn will someone please get Clark Kent some fucking antidepressants.
- Can someone please point out the stand out performance by Henry Cavil, because I'm officially calling him a flat actor. Dude has no emotion. Him and Lois even have a sex scene in a tub and he barely shows a smile the whole time. NO EMOTION in this performance.
- Jesse Eisenberg was a horrible choice for Lex Luthor. He lacks all the gravitas that Lex Luthor should bring to the screen. The Lex Luthor from Smallville was a better Lex than Eisenberg.
- They give exactly ZERO fucks to Wonder Woman's origins. I really liked Gal Gadot as the character but if you don't know anything about WW from the comics, this movie ain't helping. And if you do know the character, you'll just be pissed at them making her a fucking meta-human.
- Hey DC, remember how Marvel spent like 5 years and multiple movies before they got to Avengers. Remember how they introduced each character in their own movie, and then brought them together organically. Remember how they didn't just have a computer file with everyone on it!
- Maybe it hasn't been long enough since spending 13 hours watching Daredevil and Punisher last weekend, but if your Batman doesn't kill people .... do you're a favor and skip this movie. This Batman was much closer to the Punisher than Batman. This Batman straight murders people. He shot a few people with guns. He hits a guy with the Batmobile. He breaks one guys neck in a way that made the whole audience yell DAMN!!!!
- Bruce has a Flashpoint dream sequence that goes absolutely no where!!!!
- No other way to say this .... the story is weak. They move from random Dark Knight Returns adaptions to random Death of Superman adaptions without earning either.
- Fuck was Doomsday during in this movie. They had a creditable reason for Bats and Supes to team up before Doomsday entered the frame. Besides having a big CGI fight, Doomsday didn't need to be in this movie at all.
Dropping the bomb in the plant. Indirectly killing the Joker. Setting clowns on fire with the batmobile turbine engine. Blew up the fat guy and even smiled about it. What else am I forgetting?

This could have been called "Batman 4-guest starring Superman".
Batman is more than established, coming off of the Nolan trilogy in 2012. MoS was what needed deeper rooting. Superman should have had a true Superman-specific sequel, and this should have happened after a MoS 2. Seems like DC/WB is trying to get to Justice League so quick they shitted on Superman.
By the way, Ben Affleck killed it as Batman!

Fam I agree with everything you said BUT this aint an origin story. Batman was already established in this universe. Matter fact, he had to dust off his gear and get back into shape to make a comeback. Matter fcat, they are all already established, only newbie here is Supes.
