remember the last Fantastic Four movie turned a big profit.
for what its worth it think suckerpunch is very under rated. i know that is not a popular opinion here.
I don't remember it well
but I WAS surprised it was such huge flop
it had a big budget a very sexy all girl cast and the cinematographery and effects were crazy...
I got to see that again before I comment.
I didn't care for MOS much. Didn't like how Superman was portrayed. I hope BvS is a critical and financial success. Even if it's a critical failure, it will make money hand over fist, just off the names alone.
Hope DC can get its cinematic universe off the ground, as I preferred DC to Marvel as a kid. DC just dragged their feet for too long getting their films in order. They honestly should be where Marvel is right now in regards to their movies.
still going to see it in imax3d.....
Continuously going back to Supes and Bats is gonna be their undoing. Taking da safe route.
No, they simply cancelled the release date for the sequel so the stink would go away quicker.and they still decided against doing anymore of them.
" It was like the Revenant without the bear..."
Tical is still Fam and I can vouch for him on this, in the past the very few times we didn't see eye to eye, he was always a real man, never getting his opinions mixed up with being a stand up dude...@ him not posting in this thread.
See, to me, thats nots a bad thing. I dont have a problem with the dark and storied theme." It was like the Revenant without the bear..."
It's at 39% rotten on rotten tomatoes
Why do people put so much faith in rotten tomatoes? Their reviews are trash. Cats always bringing them up like they are the overseer of whats a good film or not

Unless, Disney/Marvel makes a SERIOUS AND SIGNIFICANT cash offer to reacquire the rights for Fantastic Four, expect Fox to announce production plans in about 5 years for another one. They'll drop the name of whatever up and coming fresh meat sophomore director they can find at the time and start the cycle all over again.
They make free money off their cut from FF merch just by retaining the movie rights. All they have to do to keep the rights is make a piece of shit movie every 8-10 years and make sure that flick at least breaks even.

from "Moviebob"'s review
"It’s as though geek culture is being made to suffer for enjoying itself too much, like we’ve gorged ourselves too gluttonously for almost a decade at a highest-quality AVENGERS-catered buffet… and now BATMAN V SUPERMAN is the rock-hard, rectum-shredding, anus-prolapsing rectal blockage we’re to be punished with for indulging too long without consequence."

I would have to agree. I up to this point have not been impressed by anything Zack Snyder has done.It is Zack Snyder, he is basically Michael Bay without the stereotypical minority in all his films. A lot of pretty colors and explosions and nothing else.
Somebody somewhere was like, "We need another Jew!" And just threw his ass in there. I don't watch trailers of movies I'm going to see you anyway, but I could tell from the beginning that he was horribly miscast. But since Hollywood miscasts white people as gods of Egypt and the like I don't expect much from those assholesDamn the reviews are merciless. One thing is for sure, I knew Jesse Eisenberg was miscast as Lex, that was the one mistake that was way too obvious.
Kylo Ren reacts to early Batman v Superman reviews....

Am I alone when I say that 300 was overrated? Not to say that it wasn't good but I expected so much more and I didn't get it. Maybe I just expect more from movies nowadays.
All of his other movies that I've seen I've either falling asleep on, or just flat-out cut them off. Thank God I've downloaded these movies because I would be really mad that I paid to see Man of Steel. God that movie was horrible. It was too long ago to remember exactly what I hate it but I know I didn't finish it even though I wanted to see Zod do his thing.
Here in My Little Country Town of Medina Ohio, there is $5.50 day at the movies on Tuesday and Sunday, so I'm going to see Batman vs. Superman on Sunday..., damn I have a wedding at 4. Well, I'll go see the 1130 show. $5.50 is the most that I will pay for this movie
The story of Civil war should be a lot more complex with all the subplots, there's the Black Panther angle, the Spiderman plot, how they going to deal with the Vision and the Scarlet Witch, then there is the Giant man question, and how will the movie version of civil war resolve the conflict between the deep divide between the two units.. I other words there is more going on than just a bunch of guys throwing down...As much as I enjoy watching trailers, when we have knowledge of the source material we should avoid the second or third trailers. I know the story of the Civil War and Infinity Gauntlet so I can avoid those and I'm going to see them regardless. I'm staying away from the final Suicide Squad trailer. BVS went on damage control after showing Dooms Day. The third trailer where we saw Batman in action jumping though the window and calling Superman a clown while dressing down as Clark Kent was enough to sell boost the ticket sells. But what I'm saying is anyone who claims they've seen to much is basically bull. If you read comics, watched the cartoons, played the video games, or understand that generally the good guys usually win and save the day then you know what you're going into. Go into BVS as a pre summer block buster movie.
It's not the answer I meant but the basic outoutcome. Bat and Supes will join forces to fight a bigger threat and form the JL. Tony and Cap will put their issues behind and their may possibly be a death to a Avenger. If you know the answers to all of that, then more power to you, for the rest of us it should be interesting...
