I'm confused because my post should have been succinct enough for most to follow. Talent doesn't excuse the behavior. As a matter of fact the behavior seems to lessen the talent.
You can have your comparison if you do this ... turn down the volume when your favorite female singer/rapper is on stage and let the Instagram model lip sync the song that "talent" is singing. Then you should see the point.
Maybe there needs to be more clarification cause that wasn't what understood. But since we're talking hypothetically, Irene the dream and Jasmin Cadavid weren't able to lip sync either one of these.
Point being, talent is more times than not the deciding factor in how we perceive people. Today's mainstream media effectively blur the lines between sexuality and art. Strip these artists from the Hollywood marketing machine, and all your left with is the very thing that put them on the map.
