NFL Free Agency 2016....

as long as we don't give him crazy money, i think it'll be solid pick up. we need some depth badly that the position.
He should be a good depth guy. Can play some backup center and guard. Career started off shitty....Callahan came in and saved it. There was a time when we had no offensive linemen and Jerry went out and signed Nate Livings and Bernadeaux and overpaid or them. Bernadeau ended up actually having a decent career here in a backup role.

I don't have a problem with him taking the money, but if folks want to go around acting like Elway made a mistake for not resigning, after Brock let it be known,he wasn't interested coming back, after we gave him an offer and felt some kind of way for getting bench....I'm going to call bullshit.

I understand both sides. I get why Osweiller is upset. IMO, he should've been left in there at QB. He was fresher and probably at this point a better QB than Peyton is. He got overpaid but free agency is about paying for potential especially someone his age. I'm not a fan of his but shit Texans have no choice. He's betting on himself. I think in Denver with all those pieces and that defense he was going to always be looked at as replaceable and as a stop gap. If he can fix the Texans he'll be right there ready for a even bigger deal.
Its one of those rare/weird situations between Brock and the Bronco's. I didn't know he felt a certain way about getting benched.

Low key the parralels between the Cowboys and Chargers is almost unreal lol. I've noticed them for awhile now. Back when we were looking for head coaches and we both picked up great coordinators that we're gonna fail at head coach.

 Still hanging onto Garrett. They said he iced his own kicker, lol. And they're hanging on to McCoy. Won't go for it on fourth down.

:dance2:

thank god this fool is off my fucking team

this was the only other thing left to accomplish on my Free agency wishlist... next to getting a low cost WR

I think The broncos gonna put him in a package and send him to Chip/Baalke for Kapernick
No Doubt family but it's a real tragedy that this idiot keeps signing checks and RG3 is filling out job applications. Crazy

I agree, he was better than Manning this year, but to feel some type of way, because he bench when he wasn't doing shit in the first half against the Chargers knowing full well the team needed that win to get homefield advantage showed Elway he wasn't ready....Even,after all that Elway was willing to bring Brock back at 15/16 million, but want to bitch up,because he didn't want to follow Manning's legacy.

Brock fail to realize that he has to play against our defense this coming season

Damn Jacksonville. Making moves. Will be interesting to see how this team develops come this football season.

They're Jacksonville. They'll still suck.

But seriously

Teams that spend big in free agency like they're doing usually don't do well that first year (chemistry).

Next year tho they'll definitely push for the division title

That's fucked up :smh: Ya'll pick up a CB in the draft he is gone.

Kind of fucked up if we do plan to cut him after the draft all the teams spending money now

Might not be much left but oh well he has stolen enough

It saves us more cap if he is designated a post June 1st cut, but we could do that now and he could come to terms with another team just couldn't officially sign until then I think

Either way he needs to go I don't care

Aww shit man I was talking about even further than now. Back when we were looking for head coaches and we got Wade and y'all got Norv Turner. So y'all head coach now has out welcomed his stay too lol? I'm telling you man........the parallels lol.

"In his four seasons with the team since, Claiborne intercepted three passes."

And y'all re-signed him?

Claiborne wasn't bad last season. People are going to look at his picks but i'm gonna blame that on Maranelli. I refuse to believe that Claiborne and Carr can't get any picks based on skill. Maranelli wants a "bend but don't break" defense and when you don't have a pass rush that's exactly what you are going to get. A drop back and attack your defense all field.

Claiborne's problem is he's soft and can't stay healthy. I have no problem with a 1 year show and prove deal. Especially for the contract he got and what these other dudes out here getting.

For a defense that can't get turnovers it does very well. And for last year for a defense that had no support from a offense it did very well.

IMO, Maranelli is the real problem but he's also the same one who's unit is probably player as good or over their heads they just can't get turnovers.

Wait

Y'all drafted like 3 first round corners in the past 8 years

Everybody y'all next Deion?

Mike Jenkins went pussy after he was a Pro Bowler. He started crying and shit when we drafted Claiborne and signed Carr.

Byron Jones gonna be alright but he's probably going to be our free safety.

Claiborne fucked us all just like most LSU niggas do in the NFL. I was mad when we signed his ass to begin with. He improved last season though.

Y'all? I'm far from a Chargers fan. But I hear you.

Maranelli is cool but I wish he wasn't here

His presence has the front office thinking they can just give him scrubs and mediocre players and make it work

He is doing alright but this team lacks a pass rush period point black he can play with his rotations all he wants but if a nigga not cold enough to get back that he not cold enough to get back there period point blank I don't care how hard he works

As far as the secondary yeah we trying to bend and not break but these niggas aren't making plays when the opportunity presents itself

Shit the Tampa 2 is based not only on bending and not breaking but forcing turnovers and our secondary doesn't do that cuz the bottom line is them niggas not playmakers

I don't even know if Jones is or not but he did at least lead the team in pass breakups and that's as a rookie so what does that tell you about the other niggas

Fuck a pick they aren't even getting their hands on the ball

If this is the shit we are gonna do in free agency give me Ramsey on draft day

Fuck that

My stance on Ramsey is that if all we gonna do is play 10 yards off receivers than I can just keep what I have to do that shit.

This Tampa 2 shit is outdated. There's too many things that have to go good for it to work. I need a Ronde Barber at corner. I need a John Lynch at safety. I need a Warren Sapp at DT. I need a Derrick Brooks......

Too much shit for me to get behind this defense. I just want these dudes to line up, press and get a pass rush. Very simple shit. I don't want all these gimmick zone coverage bullshits all game. Playing linebackers at safety and de's at defensive tackle.

They want to turn shit to sugar.

I actually like what they doing. Retaining some of their players for cheap contracts. I'd keep going. There's a few guys out there. Chris Long as depth isn't a bad move. Just make your team deeper at this point.

I'm torn between Elliott and Jack. The way the draft is shaping out.....I don't mind Elliot at #4 no more because if we don't take him than Eagirls or Giants gonna take him. He's not gonna be there much after us so at that point is he really a reach?

I got a feeling that Elliot ends up landing in the east too...and I have little hope he will last until #21 for my Skins. No one in the division has a rb that you fear. If he lands anywhere in the division besides the Skins hopefully its Philly since he would be the only weapon you would worry about stopping.
