2015 - 2016 NBA Thread - NBA where amazing happens - all rookie team named!!!

Well if there is no projection implication in the loss then the loss is just an isolated incident nothing more nothing less, this is exactly what I said, because in the NBA shit like this happens, no need to get too high or too low over it..
The only reason why I am pissed is that the game could have been a very good game if the refs didn't fuck it up...
Basically the Cavs were up by one 45 secs left and then before the Cavs could take a shot, Memphis was allowed to make 7 strait points following that bullshit three sec, the bullshit Irving foul (same exact play they called against him when it happened to him), the jump ball where the defender jumped on Delly back, and the Delly tie up before the ball was in bounded... (Edit: I almost forgot to mention the LeBron Jump ball where it could have easily have been called a no call or a foul on the defense)
This is way too much bullshit to have happen in 45 secs, especially to have all go against one team...
Again I am not saying the Cavs would have or should have won, what I am saying is the game should have been won lost on the court, that way the game would have been more exciting...
Your fingers and wrists must hurt like a motherfucker

If you don't go around wasting your money on stupid depreciating shit like many of these niggas do then his career earnings is enough for generations on generations
Right. How many times you see David West out here splurging his shit? He's good. Trust. He aint' hurting. He's opted out of his last two contracts.

Calvin Johnson is retiring more for health reasons so its not the same... And yeah, leaving 10 percent of your career earnings (and he hasnt cleared 100 mill) is a grip. Think about how much youve made from day one and give up 10 percent of that shit and let me know if you feel it. Plus theirs no guarantee hes gonna get a chip with SA either...

That cat his cleared 100 million. He made I believe 46 million with the Pacers. I don't know what he made with the Hornets but he should've made similar. And who knows if he's invested his shit. He's basically spending 11 million to be relevant and to like basketball. I'm not gonna underrate that shit.

And Calvin shit ain't just health reasons. If he was somewhere he wanted to be or a must better situation who knows what the outcome would be.

We shit on niggas like Melo who take the money to play on a shitty team...i'm not gonna shit on West for just wanting to play meaningful basketball.

You really be overblowing shit when your team lose man. You jump off the ledge and shit. I don't know why you do that.
I didn't say shit when they lost to the Warriors, Spurs, Raptors or Bulls... I was just pissed that the refs ruined what could have been an interesting ending to a game...

You are also aware what tax bracket he's in, in addition to other expenses (agents, attorneys, accountants, personal).... Again, he'd have to had made over 200 million gross to even THINK about CLEARING 100 mill Bruh

I'm speaking about what he's made in the league man not what he's getting after Taxes. You think that 11 million he was gonna make in Indiana wasn't gonna get taxed?

Once again, we don't know what he got going on in the side. Y'all thought Jamal Mashburn was broke until y'all so all the money he was making outside of basketball.

Dude you said CLEARED which is what he took home after taxes and expense.... You did not say gross....
Also, you don't know what he has going on on the side either so you're stating his paper as if its a fact and it's not... And Mashburn didn't turn down 11 million during his career for a chip he might not get either so... Bad analogy Bruh :D

Ok since you misunderstood where I was coming from i'm telling you now. I'm saying he made 100 million in his career from NBA Contracts. Of course its gets taxed. The 11 million he turned down gets "taxed" too but y'all not mentioning that shit.

I brought up Mashburn to bring up the fact that nobody knew he was making money outside of basketball until that report came out years after he retired.

And naw I don't know what he made i'm saying NONE of us know. Who's to say that 11 million isn't light to him? To broke niggas money is everything. I get it. I'm one too. But when you got millions in the bank.....you probably rather find happiness. He's not the first or last guy to take a paycut to the Spurs. They ll the dumbest niggas in the room though. The smartest one is a Philly fan. Who a year ago said the Eagirls were going to win a Super Bowl and a year later, coach gone, Demarco gone, Maxwell gone, Alonso gone....Shady gone for nothing.

Regardless of what he signed for; the move he was a dumb financial move period; and again this is only acceptable in black sports..

How is it dumb? He opted out of his contract to go to a contender? Like I said its dumb to us because we don't have millions in the bank. Him? He's gonna clear that shit. His career has been rather underrated and irrelevant because he's never played for a legit contender. People forget that for awhile he was making some All Star teams. He was a solid player in his prime.

I wouldn't do it but i'm not in his boat to relate either.

So... say they don't win the chip... is it still a smart move Bruh?

Can you post a link to all of the outside business ventures he's made all the millions you seem to be referencing to validate your point?

Also, I feel you Dude, you're struggling because you said some dumb shit and can support it, you didn't say made you said CLEARED so, I didn't miss understand shit... and all of the emoticons and weak ass jokes you're trying to introduce is really a feeble attempt at deflection from the dumb shit you are saying...

I won't bite though, again,

David West Career earnings:87 mill: Fed/State Tax approx 45% , agent, financial advisor and attorney fees approx 15% which puts his CLEARED bread not including personal expenses would be around 28 mill. Now, factor that in to turning away 11 mill (6 after taxes) which is about 28 percent of his net worth to POSSIBLE get a chip that he may not get equals a dumb ass move...

Do you have any links to show that he doesn't INVEST his money or that he's spent his shit?

There's no struggle. I admit that I shouldn't have said cleared. I was using cleared to speak on how much money he's made in the league. Not what he's made after taxes. But its funny you don't mention taxes when you talk about how he left 11 million on the table but i'll let that ride out since you brought it up in your last post.

I'm not the one claiming facts I don't know like you. I quoted facts, what he's made... You're the one saying dumb shit about he's CLEARED 100 million.... and then referencing what he's made outside of basketball. You shouldn't quote shit you can't support and then try to back pedal bruh, shit's embarrassing :hmm:

He'll probably dry his eyes with hundreds. While me and you broke and laughing at him for turning down 11 million for happiness lol.

SO now you speaking for my Pockets too Bruh? Cool... Can't say I can relate to your dilemma though but I guess you made a great point in your head though...

I said WE DON'T KNOW what he made outside of basketball. You're the one assuming he just ain't shit but a basketball player. For him to turn down 11 million......who's dos ay he doesn't? Are you his accountant? I'm done talking about his money. I'm not arguing about a rich mans finances.
