This is what I was thinking too. Clearly it should never have happened but one of the worst things you can do is get emotional(easily understood). But that's part of the excuse they are looking for to say you were a threat and they felt the need to protect themselves.
Then again there is history of people acting calm getting killed as well so....

Indeed we do.
People wanna believe that such extreme measures aren't needed in this day and age but with them killing and imprisoning us at this rate it really is. If we ain't willing to die for it then really we ain't fit to live here, and we shouldn't be complaining when they kill us disproportionately. They keep killing us like this and we still haven't done shit to stop it.
So that only tells me we are either quite comfortable with the way things are now and/or powerless to do anything to stop it or both.
That investment in body cameras is necessary car cams too. Had a friend who just beat a traffic case when a police said he ran a stop sign that he didn't. The cam might not save your life but at least it can tell your side of the story.
This is what cops do they aggressively approach you on shit that you can get no more than a warning from hoping they can get an easy arrest from folks exploding..

We have predatory Law Enforcement Officers. Especially where the poor and minorities are concerned. The only way to beat this is to take the profit out of incarceration and make it much more costly for the state. Check this link.
