2015 - 2016 NBA Thread - NBA where amazing happens - all rookie team named!!!

Parsons can go for all I care overhyped overrated delusional CAC

If you that nigga then go win us a playoff series

I ain't asking for much just a series

Since you a franchise player

Let some other team give this dude a Max deal fuck him and fuck paying 3rd tier guys that kind of money

Take Carlisle with you

we live in a crazy world where a marginal cac is making threats to leave like he got the mavs in the top spot right now or some shit lol

You think the heat cap specialist ain't working on a solution right now to sign another player? Man shut yo ass up
What wrong with you fam? That was uncalled for. I was just answering a question why getting rid of Gerald Green makes no sense for the Heat.

The Heat needs to stay under the repeaters tax. This is why we moved Ennis, Chalmers, birdman and Napier. The repeaters tax woukd have fucked us up big time from going after Durant and other big time free agents.

In order to sign Joe Johnson we did a buyout of Beno which allowed us to sign Joe. The Sixers will pick up Ben because it make so much sense for them because they need to get over the threshold from tanking. The Heat will resign Beno this summer and that is why teams are pissed. PLUS at the 76ers for doing us a favor for grabbing Beno.

That move puts us about 2.4 million under the cap. Cutting Green would do nothing because his salary would still count against the cap so you would not be able to use his salary to replace him. So we essentially have room for two as you mentioned. The most important thing is that we can sign two players and still remain under the cap.

A report said Miami was not interested in Ty Lawson at all so I assume it is Marcus Thorton and Beasley. Lawson may be a smoke screen but I assume he wants to start

Parsons would be doing the Mav's a favor if he left.

Isn't that shit amazing?

This shit been the talk of the town the last 48 hours or so

A part of me wants him to leave as well because the blame will go to Carlisle and maybe they will run him out of here

I think there's a few players that can handle being the sole focal point of a team offensive schemes...

Don't kno how or if Barnes can and would affect the win/lose category.
Parson kinda having the chance to

Barnes comes off as a Jeff Green type. He has the talent to be a star but will be inconsistent if he had a larger consistent role on offense.

Carmelo Anthony refers fan to James Dolan: 'Ask for your money back'

NEW YORK -- Carmelo Anthony had a strong response to a fan who was heckling him late in the New York Knicks' 104-85 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night.

"Look, the owner's right there," Anthony said he told the fan. "Ask for your money back."

The fan was standing a few rows behind Knicks owner James Dolan in a section of seats adjacent to the Knicks bench. During a timeout with 4:15 to play in the game, the fan started yelling in Anthony's direction. Anthony, sitting on the bench, gestured back and eventually stood up and appeared to address the fan.

"He kept calling my name, calling my name, saying, 'You guys suck, you guys suck,'" Anthony said after the Knicks' 19-point loss to Portland. "At that point, I was trying to gather myself, and I turned around. All I did was point at Dolan and told him, 'Look, the owner's right there. Ask for your money back.' He's calling me and telling me he's never coming to another game and we suck. Just don't want to hear that. I pointed to the owner and told him, 'You deal with that with him. Maybe you can get your money back.'"

Security guards surrounded the fan during and after his interaction with Anthony and appeared to escort the fan from his seat.

The run-in happened at the tail end of another frustrating night for Anthony and the Knicks. New York has dropped 15 of 18, including its past two games by an average of 18 points.

"It gets frustrating. The losing gets frustrating, disappointing," Anthony said. "The way that we ended that game was disappointing. At that point [late in the fourth quarter], I think my head was in the towel. I was just trying to breathe. Just try to relax, kind of gather myself a little bit at that point."

Anthony said this season has been more frustrating than last season's 17-win campaign because New York experienced a degree of success. The Knicks were 22-22 on Jan. 20.

"It's tougher now," he said. "At least last year [we] were in a situation where we had to start from the bottom, from the ground up. This year we got off to a good start. We had spurts where we was playing very well and we had spurts where we wasn't playing well. Everything just shifted all of a sudden for us."

Anthony added that he's concerned with the recent losing and its potential impact on the competitive spirit of his teammates.

"I don't want to lose the competing at this point," he said. "If guys don't want to compete, they shouldn't play. Whoever that may be. I don't want to lose that competitive edge as a team because that could easily happen at times like this. We don't want to lose that."

I agree Melo

And then Dolan should ask YOU for his money back

Nah that shit ain't on him. Aside from Melo he's been the only one performing. Dolan deserves this. He has no draft picks and hasn't been able to acquire one other superstar to go beside Melo and Porz

Who you talking about?

I was saying that the Knicks need to get their money back from Melo while he trying to refer fans to the owner for their money

He supposed to be a franchise player he needs to have these dudes in the playoffs
