Golden State Warriors fans.... Uh Oh?!?!?!?!

That's just not true though lol. Yall being nostalgic or some shit that wasn't true lol. Them dudes hung out with each other all the time. Them dudes were close friends. Them dudes played in each other's summer leagues and basketball camps and went on vacations together lol.

Not denying that, but once on that court, all that friendship crap is out the door.

crazy thing is, when curry got the ball, I was screaming call time out so you can get the ball at half court, and call a set play, and this dude pulls up from 40,GAME OVER!!!!

it is now too though lol
i didn't see curry get a high five from westbrook after he made the shot
they aint even shake hands after the game lol

I think this whole conversation is steaming from the Paul, Bron, wade, melo, and bosh friendships. Plus the lack of rivalries between teams are missing.

That's what I would do. Klay aint gonna take you off the dribble so just stay on him and don't help. Man him up hard and make Curry eat in the paint and/or dish to other players. I would force Curry to drive if I had interior defenders. I would force players like Andre to hit shots... i would much rather be up 9 and force a muthafucka to make 5 FGs (even if layups) to win than to allow Curry to hit 3 FGs and tie the game.

Curry figured out this season that it's a numbers game...that he's rewarded for volume shooting..you can't let a player score 36 points on 12 shots.

Some of those shots you just can't stop though because the nigga is going full speed and then just pulls up.. you ain't supposed to be able to do that shit
This defensive strategy is flawed and would be ineffective for several reasons. Golden State ranks in the top of the league with Pace. After miss shots the ball is rebounded and the Warriors are pushing the ball up the court. The defense hardly has anytime to set up before a shot is attempted. With Golden State playing up tempo and pushing the pace they create a lot of cross matches. Also in many instances. Draymond will set a pick during transition which will force his defender to switch on Curry.

As soon as you tried to play Curry tight any smart coach would hit you with a pick n roll. Now this will present a problem for you. The Pick will most likely come from Draymond so you would either trap or switch. Switching means Draymonds defender will be on Curry. Let's say your trapping and switching has worked. Then you would have to defend the double high ball screen. If you hedge on the double high screen you are now wide open to the pick n pop which is normally barnes or iggy.

If you don't trap Curry and play him straight up then you have to defend their play called the "double exit" which is a series of pin downs and screens for Klay to either side of the court. Once you try and trap those pin downs it leaves a player with a pocket pass or rolling to the basket open. I am not sure why teams don't use the Heat strategy to defend Curry by picking him up full court whether he has the ball or not.

Of course it is... you're not going to just let a guy get layups. It's not meant to be serious.. deploying a strategy like that would get any coach (except Pop) fired. My point is that Curry is shooting so lights out that you might need to try something extreme to disrupt his long-distance shooting. I didn't read anything past what I quoted above.

What makes Golden State unique is that 1 - 5 can bring the ball up court. 1-4 can shoot the ball at a high rate

1-5 can pass the ball very well

1-4 can drive to the basket (good dribbling skills)

To me Curry struggles when you pressure him full court and deny him the ball. The problem is that Curry refuses to ISO. He takes perfect shot all the time within the flow of the offense. He also refuses to ball stop.

They're ridiculous and they're trying to add Durant without moving any of their best 4 players :smh:.. you add Durant to that team with that many shooters man :smh:

like what??

like what??

I don't know if there is a real answer to that. I've stated it before his J is in Kareem hook shot and Jordan fadeaway category... how do you legitimately stop a guy who can shoot over the dribble from 35 feet who is also fast and has crazy handles?

Klay
Draymond

Would be way to much. Only way to beat them is pound them in the paint (Muscle it at the rim) But dow low big Center and Forwards are none existent:smh: at the moment

Bruh stop engaging these football fans. They have no basketball sense. No NBA player with any sense will risk their livelihoods and future earnings to tackle Steph like the NfL players and appease these 1980s basketball loving stans

Seriously they are getting more outrageous but the post.

If they don't like the product I suggest bgol football stans to go tackle and a moving 18 wheeler literally. Now that would be entertainment I'll pay for.

I said it a year ago; Durant is going to GS or Miami if he leaves OKC; But im not sure hes going to leave though...

I've read articles about how they could make it work and keep the team intact. if that happens, they're gonna be like that Boston team from the 60s... no way you're going to beat that team with Durant being added to it... any other superstar maybe.. but Durant.. he's too perfect of a fit for that squad..another ball handling that can shoot from anywhere.. no one you're beating that team in a 7 game series..

not possible to stop..just gotta hope he misses...

I dont think Durant is going to GS. Its rumors that the front office does not want to break up the bench for Durant. I personally dont think he is needed.

I agree but it amuses me how they are acting with steph; that 80s and 90s shit is dead and gone and not ever coming back..

they don't really have to break up much. that's the cold part about it.

plus they're building a new stadium and the owner has gone on record saying he wants to hire a big splash free agent.

the warriors have not, their talent is home grown drafted talent that's locked up all during their primes basically.

I dont think they need him personally; I think Barnes fits fine with what they do; I can see the plus and minus of adding him though; Im just not sure he would make that much of a difference if they keep their team together; Personally I would rather have the team they have right now...

From the looks of it, they would have to give up bogut, livingston, and barnes; If the reports are true; Im not sure he goes there or not; I just like their team how is put together now; not sure if I would like it if Durant was on the team...

so basically they lose bogut and livingston since KD supplants barnes...and bogut ain't shit so they basically lose livingston to acquire durant...shiiiiit

I don't think they "NEED" him.. but how do you pass up on Durant... a selfless superstar who is a matchup nightmare and can shoot from anywhere that's just about to go into his prime???

Bro Isaiah Lord Thomas of my hometown Champs said he himself never in NBA History has watched anyone like Chef Curry. This coming from the team innovator of bully basketball. His word should be enough but its not. I love the fact Steph is successful he comes from a great family and he is a quality guy and he chose a quality wife. The community hates it because it destroys the weak narrative brothas and sistas from single parent homes tell themselves that quality black families don't exist. Steph's Parents are the Real MVPs.

So buy seeing Steph playing Golf with whom he has golf with it increases the hate. His wife has sense and decorum . Steph loves his family, his faith and giving back. Seeing Stephs family and now his own I see mine.

Bogut is great defensively and an excellent passer and screener; Livingston is easier to loose but I think the lost of Bogut would hurt them...

bogut is hurt, like bogut if ezili is healthy and now varajeo you can survive that. livingston would be a big loss but why not lose barbosa instead of livingston and let clark get some of that burn?
it's funny. rush is good enough to start when barnes is hurt. when barnes is healthy he doesn't even get any minutes. there's more depth that meets the eyes.
i mean rush literally filled in for barnes for about a month and they didn't miss a beat and now he can't get any meaningful minutes.

also maybe get rid of speights as well he's just a fat shooter at this point lol. not a rebounder or defender or driver or anything just a spot up shooter.

and then you add kevin durant. feel me?

I agree they have alot of depth; I like that looney kid they got at the end of the draft; I like clark too; Livingston and Barbosa are solid/good fits as well; I just think having Bogut is huge for their team; He does a lot of small things that you need to win that Festus doesnt do right now; The one thing that Festus probably will never be able to do is pass as good as Bogut; That skill alone is worth them keeping...
