That doesn't fly in the GE. You flip states by winning independents. Independents actually care about policy and knowledge(that's why they're independent).
Trump doesn't have a plan. This type of slop only works in the GOP election with 100 nominees... it's a clown show for a reason because their party is a clown show.
Also, the media treats you differently in the GE. They ate McCain up... they ate Romney up... media hasn't even touched Trump yet.. they'll be all competing to write the article that ends his campaign

You need to be able to discuss foreign politics. Donald likely couldn't beat my 15 year cousin in a foreign policy debate. He probably can't even name 5 heads of state in the middle east with practicing on cards before a debate. 1 on 1 debates over 2 hours require substance..no soundbites.

The media is more focused on the circus because they think the parties should work things out before the GE. At that point, they put the spotlight on candidates. A small percentage of the population actually tracks foreign policy. However, most people can watch a debate and clearly understand when someone has no intellectual depth. Romney got hammered for his foreign policy knowledge and he's galaxies ahead of Trump.
They're not making decisions based on whether Libya is better shape or not. They want to know that you at least know what the fuck you're talking about. And moderators push you on actually PLANS as well.
