Kanye West just dropped some straight GARBAGE

College Dropout and Late Registration Kanye>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Yeezus Kanye. Like Jay said, "You want the old me, buy my old albums". That's exactly what I did.

Exactly

Basically telling me don't support your new weirdo wack shit

Nigga don't worry I won't

Majority of the music that I listen to came out pre 2008

its not as bad as yall making it out to be

as a rap album its awful but its an ok pop album

but its a pop album catered to artsy gay whites and they will call it a work of genius

Man yall cats tripping. Saying this album is weak. Granted its not like his earlier work when he was still rocking polos but Its dope album compared to the shit thta has been coming out. So ultralight beam is whack or pop? Man get the fuck out of here. Kanye doing shit his way.

Outside of Pusha T, Kendrick, or J cole who album is better than this that has dropped in the past 2 years?? Meek? Rick Ross???

I bet me and Ray J be'd friends

All Ray J ever has to do is post any of these Wonderful memories to Kanye's twitter account and that's all the comeback he will ever need. There will be a day when North West is old enough to Google and she will type in her Mom's name and the first thing that you will see is her Mom sucking another dudes dick and tonguing him down. How do you even have that conversation???

Just like Diamonds.... This shit is 4-eva.

You tell her be responsible for all your actions and that aint no one perfect. We all make mistakes. Like Kanye said shit I am rich so does it
fucking matter? Niggas be acting like they perfect and shit and aint made no mistakes in the past.

After listening to this.... I can say that I like it much better than Yeezus, but it not even close to his better albums. There are probably 4 to five tracks that I like on here, but nothing really just stands out. I guess this is the problem when you earlier works are considered classics. It has to be hard to maintain that level, while at the same time try to evolve as an artist. I will give him credit for the creativity on the production.

I just wish that this didn't seem like a mainstream mixtape. I miss the way that his albums use to have a flow to them and tell a sort of story.

So by your last sentence it's not for us and it's awful

He can GTFOH with this shit

oh man lol love the max b intro

killed a lot of talking points.

ill be back with a review later.
that father stretch my hands shit that's wake up in the morning music

Nah man dude brought a lot of soul BACK into the music. straight up gospel samples. nice features. its in the middle. It ain't the hardest shit ever but that's never been Kanye its always been soulful but out there and this is that.

Personally I think YOU would like a solid 9 songs. just going by your taste.

Co sign. Its like with most artist. Can you say church in the wild was the same as thug motivation? Hell no, but I still fucks with jeezy. My point is that kanye put niggas on this album that cats aint even thought of and make great work (kelly price, debarge, unknown pastors).

He really has..... People try to make as if your not enlighten if you don't like his current music. Like he's so far ahead of his time if you don't like his music it's just you not the music.

True

Like you not up to date on music or something

You will hear that a lot

i've still got to fully take it in..but
oh man lol love the max b intro

Yeah, I definintely got a sense of that..

Been waiting for this, I listened to it a bit on the way to the office this morning but haven't really taken it in...I've never been a huge fan of Kanye as a lyricist/rapper or as a human being..but always respected him as a producer and love the fact that he's willing to push boundaries try different sounds and experiment. It's one of the reasons I actually fuck with Yeezus (still in my whips hard drive and give it at least a weekly rotation).
Really interested to see the direction this album goes..I fuck with "real friends' and "no more parties in L.A" hardbody.

i think its a mix man. i honestly think that we gotta understand music evolves. it comes down to whether you like what you're actually hearing because it sounds good or not. not whether it sounds like some era of hip hop you loved and if it don't fit that then its trash. that's how i listen to music now. is this good because the rhythm is good and i feel this shit? if yes cool if no cool not for any other reason than that.

we get caught up on college dropout and shit and that's just not fair to be like ok you made music like this and this so you just make this and this forever or everything you do is trash.

and with artists sometimes they try and push shit and it fails like yeezus did. so you can't say be cutting edge and game changing while still doing the exact same thing.

i think he found a pretty good medium on this album as far as being new age at some points but keeping that soul sample in his back pocket and unleashing it at times.

people have to stop saying yeezus was a failure

that shit was critically acclaimed, won tons of awards, and will be certified platinum soon in the age of downloading

we may not like it but that shit was a huge success

the same thing is going to happen with this mess here you like lolol

Kanye's a prick for letting Swizz talk all over that ungodly beat-switch on "Famous". Now ni99as can't rip that shit from him.

He said, "if I'm not rapping over this shit, then y'all ain't, either"

That beat-switch is everything great about the art world, though.

What? the sales and stuff? Heck yea. he drummed up the controversy masterfully these past 2 weeks up to the release date. I wouldn't be surprised if every bit of it was fake.
It is.....he knows how to play the public, shit he has peole thinking he's crazy when he's just pimping the public.

Maybe cynicism is getting better as I get older, but I know a wack marketing stunt when I see one.

And for the record: his first two albums weren't classics. They were refreshing. When every album at the time is threatening to rape your mother, a guy rapping about buying polo shirts is a nice change of pace. But every rapper today is making songs for Sundance films or nba commercials. So this this stuff is as refreshing as cleaning a patient with c diff.
