I realized today why I dislike the original teaser and the first 2 trailers...The references to Man of steel.
I'm sorry that movie just disappointed me. When I saw references to it in BvS It irked me nay it vexes me

I can't help you there as I thought MoS was short of brilliant. Honestly, most people do themselves and the movie they are watching a disfavor IF they don't take it in as the writers/directors etc intended. Plain and simple, Synder and Goyer said MoS was intended to be a 1st contact story. From that perspective it works extremely well, IMO. Most people, once more IMO that don't like MoS didn't watch it from that perspective and more often than not approached it as a comparison to the Donner Superman movies they "KNEW" growing up watching and loving! Furthermore, in keeping up with what the writers/directors intended this BvS movie falls perfectly inline with that theme.

Watching it again does have me hyped to see a Batman fucking people up. He should have always fought like he was in The Raid. Too bad that last trailer came out. That one was not needed at all.

I understand that comic book fans may have inside knowledge but from the casual watcher one thats going off the logic presented by the films, it just doesn't add up too well...
For example with Iron man and Cap they built up the tension between the two for more than one film.. You can see how their philosophical differences and ideology led up to them battling, with Bats and Sups in the movie it come off like Bats is jealous, like a bitch who see's another chick rocking a better dress..
Basically they are both calling each other vigilantes and they are both vigilantes.. What great incite am I missing from the comics?

ONe thing that made Daredevil cool was they slightly exaggerated the physics but at least they were in the same ballpark of reality of what a peek human could do... To me this movie would be just as bad if they made a Daredevil vs Thor movie and had Daredevil trying to pull the shit Bats is doing in this movie...
Now if it were Superman vs Wonder Woman or Superman vs Shazam it would have been a much better story...

Every movie should have a sense of logic, for example if Daredevil were to start flying next season with out any type of explanation, they cant say he super heros don't have no logic or physics...
When I was a kid I used to be into Godzilla and King Kong but now as an adult I find those movies to be childish due to the childish logic, however I love a movie like the scifi movie like the Martian, a fantasy movie that went out of its way to at least make the science behind it plausible...
I understand that comic book movies are allowed to stretch the boundaries of logic a bit, but if they get too goofy with it they tend to come off like the Power Rangers and the Mutant Turtles, but at the end of the day if that float your boat, knock yourself out...

look - there is a lot you don't understand about Superman or Batman and their backstories...

Superman doesn't move anywhere near the speed of light in this story - and he has been known to hold back a lot during a fight - cause he doesn't want to kill anyone - which is what would happen if he hit a human at top speed
Batman is in an armor that for all intents and purpose would be equal to Iron Man and apparently has kryptonite or the equivalent on him to stop Supes like that...
