In a stunning move, the Cleveland Cavaliers have fired head coach David Blatt, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski. Blatt gets the ax after an embarrassing 34-point loss at home to the Warriors on Monday, but Cleveland was still 30-11 and the class of the Eastern Conference despite many injuries.

More to come.

Didn't GSW win after replacing the head coach? I could be wrong but didn't they fire a coach during the championship season?
no. no they didn't

and golden state won the following year because they loaded up their reserves with people who weren't on the team the year before.

its a disservice to mark jackson steve kerr inherited a much better team depth wise than he had to coach so it was never as simple as you add kerr and he's better than jackson. wasn't true. the 2nd unit got way better in that off season. and they play his defense still.

you take away scrubs and add leandro barbosa and ezili being healthy and shaun livingston to the 2nd unit then you become a championship team.
