2015 - 2016 NBA Thread - NBA where amazing happens - all rookie team named!!!

1.9 secs left...I'm not gonna have LBJ inbound the ball... him and Irving should be on the floor looking to get a game winning shot

Good game but they didn't get the ball to Dirk enough in OT

Once we didn't finish them in regulation I knew it would be an L

Winning all game then lost the lead in the 4th

Cavs look good overall

I really like what Wesley Matthews has brought to the team

Haven't watched them but like I told u, at the start of the season...I like this team a lot...I know it's fools gold but I'm impressed...

Cavs depth was on full display tonight...

Well the 8 man rotation
But they are showing a weakness, that is with out Mozgov putting up last years numbers Thompson is often forced to hang in there vs the bigger centers and today they allowed way too much dribble penetration and vs the Spurs this will be a problem...
Lets see how they handle both Houston and the Spurs both teams that have capible big men and players who can attack the paint off the dribble...

Mavs possibly could sneak out of the first round depending on the opponent but that's about it

This is the best team they have put together since the title

Well Tmo been on a minutes watch thingy...
Also tonight is little different that why down the stretch it was James & Love at the 4 & 5...

Having Shum back is huge... On the defensive side of things

No dummy I said that Delly is a high energy guy who you have to respect his hustle by matching his hustle and this requires energy..
No one and I mean no one has to match any thing Delly does. He is trash and won't even be on the playoff rotation. He only playing because MO Williams is hurt.

Dude you are smoking that ism again.. Mo aunt hurt, he isn't in there because his chemistry on the team just don't fit, plus Mo is a horrible defender.. Dell on the other hand is a solid defender, good energy guy, plays Curry well, good passer, good rebounder with a nice outside shot, plus unlike Mo he does not have to take shots in order to me effective .

Mo situation ain't to bad, he's a fill in for Kyrie, I know he wants to play but get healthy(it's not like this the first time he's had problems with that same thumb).

I'd like to see more activity for TMo on the block.

Also I wonder what the chances, Griffin calls down to Nola.

He does have two trade exceptions that's about 14million...and a player they ain't really using in Andy...

Good win for Spurs; thought that game would be tougher for them; Its like 5 teams in the NBA right now and thats it; All the rest are average and/or mediocre...

Warriors, Spurs, Cavs, Clippers ????(OKC, Rockets)

GS, Spurs, Cavs, OKC, and the Clips; Im only putting the Clips there because I think they can beat the Spurs in a series; They match up well with them; Cant beat GS though...Rockets are a joke....

Ok didn't know who would be your 5th squad. I like the top four...with GS being the hardest to prepare for. The Cavs have done better than most would think, even tho theyre 3 of 9 against them with 1 outta 9, both teams were healthy.
So hopefully in a few days we can se if they're looking better against the dubs.

Barnes working his way back to form, while Kyrie is getting closer.

Nah dont think so, they will either play the clips or okc; i cant see them beating either of them

Mavs can't beat OKC

But I wouldn't be scared of the Clippers choking asses, the rockets or the Grizzlies

All those teams are beatable in 7 by a healthy Mavs team

Not saying it would happen but it could only thing I'm ruling out for a potential first round matchup is beating OKC that shit ain't happening

Clearly if the wheels fall off and they fall to 7 or 8 not beating the Warriors or the Spurs either

GS, Spurs, Cavs, OKC, and Clips is 5; everybody else is average or below; Again only reason Clips is there is because I think they would beat the Spurs in a series; But I dont trust them against the other top teams; I like the Cavs team when healthy but Im willing to bet they wont be healthy; And I dont think they will beat GS no matter; They way they played them the 1st time shows me they wont; Love and Irving are not good playing that style of play; And they need them to be their best to have a chance against GS; Thompson is very overrated and Love doesnt matchup well with GS at all; GS fully healthy will be a problem for any of them; Spurs are gonna have major issues in a series with GS, OKC, and Clips watch...

I think they could win a series against everyone out west except OKC, Clips, Spurs, GS, but thats the problem; best they can do is a 4th or 5th seed so that would guarantee them playing 1 of those teams...

Fukin refs make melo sprain his fukin ankle. A fukin red:angry:, hope they fine his ass. Get the fuk out the way. Ain't no way in the world a superstar should have an injury because of a ref. He better hope he okay, if the nba loose any money for melo being out, he might be outta here

Ain't much to disagree with...
Your point about the Cavs style vs Warriors is spot on...Actually I'd even add JR to that group. Timing and flow goes out the window.

If the Cavs want to beat the Dubs they have to play they're best best ball... Or sacrifice and understand how to when those grind out games...
Lebron & Coach Blatt understands this approach.
Coach Spo motto during year three was grind it out. That team was preparing since training camp to be victorious in those type of games. None of us would've never guessed that mindset would help, in game 5 of the finals months later.

This is a spot on assessment

And the people above who say that Dellavedova wont get any burn in the playoffs just show me that they havent been watching the Cavs

Mo stats aren't that bad, but when he is in the game the Cavs clearly play worse... Let me throw one stat at you that proves this point.... Mo William is 254 in the league in plus minus while Delly is 16th... Now you may have some games where you just happen to play at the wront time and have your plus minus somewhat skewed, but for a season, there has to be a grain of truth to it..

True true, but I just think that grind out style that they try to employ against GS works against what Love and Irving are about; Now that faggot Delly, he can do that grind out shit all day; Only way hes in the league; But Irving and Love are more fluid players, need more movement and a faster pace; which GS would eat up; Quite frankly if the Cavs start say LBJ, Love, Thompson, Irving and Shump versus GS, forget GS; GS would kill that lineup all day; JR is a boom or bust player, and hes more bust than boom...

If we didn't know, we know now. Draymond and Steph are the most important pieces to GS. Klay is number 3.

No Dray, no dub. No Steph, no dub (they got one though). But that's only their 3rd loss.
