Nobody sells you a car because of what you're willing to pay. They will sell you a car based on whether it's profitable or if it makes business sense to sell at a particular price. I will repeat it again, you are more likely to get a lower sales price on a car if you have good credit and finance or lease the car. Your cash sale is not attractive to a car seller who also offers financing. Cash sales are desirable for private sellers.Bring Cash and all of that goes out the window....just bought a car last year walked in said what I wanted what I was willing to pay and asked for paperwork. They tried the mumbo jumbo but when I said I'm ready to look else where they came off 6,000 on the vehicle...my car notes are less than 125.00
BTW, I love people like you who come in telling me what they want to pay. My highest gross was on a sale to someone who said that.
