This is what I'm implying.... A new home would've been the most intelligent thing to do for a friend. "I don't know about that" (referring to his decision in buying a car.) A car? That's "temporarily helping a friend. Basically and continuously implying this is young thinking (Especially knowing Newark NJ is not the best place to be buying a car for a friend).

It comes of as if you're trying to imply there is more to the story or something gay, but now that no one else is agreeing with you, you are attempting to switch up what you meant.
Either way maybe that's what the friend asked for and the car may have been cheaper than a house in a good area/non fixer upper.
We all think differently and owning a house may not be important to a lot of people for many different reasons. For all you know he already has a house or fetty bought him or his family one last year.

What are the property taxes in Newark? Aren't you assuming that if Fetty buys him the house instead, he's going to fork over the property taxes and insurance too?
