Pains me to admit this but it's true. Hinirch has needed to be put out to pasture 3 years ago.
Seeing how Rose is playing...not even attempting to provide points....all i can do is reflect on what he said about getting a "big contract". The shit is really hilarious.
I dont think he lost his skill..i just think he's PURPOSELY not trying to provide anything offensively. It makes me wonder if the Jimmy Butler vs Rose shit is true.
Right now the Bulls are actually top 10 in defense, but bottom 10 in offense.
I know its still early...but as of right now Fred hasnt brought anything different.

His effort isn't consistent. If you watch the games, yeah hell go hard at times. Mainly when the other PG is good, or the team is good. But other than that??? Nope. Last night 4-11... Still looking like he couldn't give less of a fuck. Rose just doesn't look like he wants to be apart of what the Bulls are doing. He's lost a good portion of the city and Bull fans. Damn man it's like that? He's always been an emotionless player and hard to read but you might be right, mentally he's not withe the Bulls anymore.
With all the injuries and him not being able to play like he played in the past have taken its toll on him.
To me thats worse. I don't expect him to ever be an Allstar. But he can still be effective. Last I check he's averaging 13 points, on 36 percent shooting, and less than 4 free throw attempts per game......... That tells me without watching he's not putting pressure on the D. He's never been a good shooter so him taking a bunch of jumpers does do the team any good. All most of us are asking is that he give effort. Jimmy is talking about Derrick in his comments. Everyone else is trying, but there aren't any other dynamic players on the squad so they have to give effort. Derrick isn't bringing it and it hurts their chances to win because this team for better or worse is built around Derrick. Jimmy called out Fred for not getting in Derricks ass for not doing what HE'S supposed to do. If you read between the lines it's easy to see.

So Jimmy has one good season and everyone's on his nuts. I like the guy and all but Sheesh talk about what have you done for me lately. I personally think Rose has his game (we see bits and pieces - he won't dunk) hates the direction the team is going in with Pau - soft and Niko- soft being featured. When he, Taj and Jo were the team and Jimmy was a D stopper. They'll trade rose and he'll be a much better player on another team and the bulls will return to the pre-jordan days. Nah. Jimmy was doing well but not at the level of a Harden or Westbrook just a little over hyped imho. I believe dude has a 5yr career ave of a little less than 13pts a game. Over the last two he became a 20 pt guy. During this time he's lost the defensive intensity. If you look at the averages of the guys he's guarding lately they've been roasting dude. On the other hand Rose's D has stepped up on who he has guarded. Like I said to much too soon so far.
