This is exactly it. When you start having profit issues the first thing you do is start cutting advertising. Advertising dollars aren't spent until it runs so those dollars are more flexible than others.

The idea that this film will spawn 3 films already annoys me. I think I'm cliffhangered out. Just make s great stand alone film. Let's not worry about this universe stuff.
