Nope. Nothing to see here.
The only commercial in the last few weeks that gave me do the Rock eyebrow raise was a Campbells Soup commercial.
First time I saw it air I literally said, "Fuck no" so loud my girlfriend came from the kitchen to see what happened thinking it was something tragic on the news.
They're teaching their son to accept double banging male 'spoons' in his mouth and that being fed by Men, let alone two different men, when the little tike is clearly of an age that he can feed and manipulate his cutlery himself is fine? FUCK NO!
Marketers and advertisers would have to make an active effort to enhance and force the point that what you're looking at is a gay / lesbian but why?
Gay has no outward expressions or appearances. With the exception of certain social cues (a man who sashays when he walks) or styling oddities (a man who lines his eyebrows, or a woman who looks butch), there are tells.
A creative director would consciously make an effort to make it a gay agenda piece and not a piece of work design to sell soup.
