2015 - 2016 NBA Thread - NBA where amazing happens - all rookie team named!!!

LeBrons run ended when he left Miami. How many rings does he have without Wade and Bosh again? And all those if's don't mean shit! 6-0 Nigga, deal with it! All LeBron has left is end of year plea coppin when his choking ass fails again and again... Oh, if so and so was healthy or if the coach had done this and that or oh, he don't get no calls. The rest of his career will be full of hollow stats if his high mileage body don't break down first. Fools back is already giving him issues...

Dude has a whole lot of mileage on him, and other teams and players are rising up. He blew a lot of his chances getting shit on by them Mavs, disappearing and getting clowned for it, and then watching helplessly while the Spurs historically trashed his ass.. It's even debatable if he's the best player in the league right now, which was NEVER the case when Air was in his prime. You keep on with your trolling Bruh, that's what you do, but one thing LeBeon will NEVER be able to erase is all those fucking Ls in the finals, getting blown the fuck out and his series long choke Job. 6-0. 6 finals MVPs, never even went to a fucking game 7 in the finals.... Yeah, like I said, you and Incubus can have all those bullshit obscure stats.... His Airness has something LeChoke will NEVER achieve, FINALS perfection!!! ...but, he's led his team in rebounding a few times tho.... FOH

Hey Pip is 6-0 in the Finals, played the same position and he's not on Brons level either. What did MJ win without him or Phil? Nothing. Mike's career is over and like you all he can do is WATCH as Bron passes him in everything. He's lucky Bron was in elementary when he won his rings against white boys like Hornacek, Majerle, and Ainge or else he'd have a lot less. When MJ was Brons age he was striking out as a minor league scrub playing double A baseball talkin bout "I have 3 rings and nothing left to prove, Ive lost my passion for the game" If Bron "retires" after winning 1 mo chip and says some shit like that Ill look at him like a pussy. Especially if he crawls back a year later after flopping.

And Mavs fans thought they were in for the lottery. Looks like they've found something that's working. Don't know how it's going to play out in the long run. But they are competing.

And it's still early.

Many of us knew we weren't in for the lottery

More like a pointless first round one and done again

Shit I wish we were in the lottery

This team ain't about to do shit this season

Why mess around with all this

Yeah and that was a questionable call

Where was the contact by Matthews

He got that James Harden love all the way

No call on the travel and a phantom call

Oh well

Crazy, these refs sometimes. At least get it right in the clutch. It was clear as day. Y'all could've closed it out if Dirk was out of gas. That's why long term, don't know if y'all can keep competing.

Oh well. I'd definitely make a formal complaint to the league office. Shit wasn't cool. Players playing all game to lose over some bullshit. I even felt cheated as a viewer. Whether it's my squad or not, a travel is a travel.

LeBron ain't winning shit unless he bitches up and takes his high mileage ass as latches on to another team with stars. This is Currys league now, LeBron ain't winning shit. And sure, he may tack on a few more hollow stats, but the ones that matter, the reason real winners play the game, he will NEVER reach that rarified air, 6-0, 6 MVPs, never really challenged in the finals. After all that bullshit, long ass letter, parades and shit his hollow stats ass had to stand there and watch the NEW King and his court celebrate IN HIS TOWN!

Shit, he ain't even on Kobes level, at least he won more titles then he lost.... All you do is cop pleas for his choke jobs, how many chips has he won without Wade? He for damn sure has lost chips without him though.... let that Nigga get his Chip weight up, even though he will never match the success of the Great One! I can wait to watch yo ass disappear again this season when those fools get chopped again, I know you got you pleas locked and loaded to cop though! :roflmao2:

Easy with the reckless talk about Bron.. No matter what he still lived up to the hype coming out of high school

Easy with the reckless talk about Bron.. No matter what he still lived up to the hype coming out of high school

Dr. J 1-3 in the Finals
Jerry West 1-7 in the Finals
Magic swept in 2 seperate Finals, lost 4
Wilt lost 4 Finals
Hakeem ONLY got 2 rings
Isiah ONLY got 2 rings

Theyre all chokers and bums

The lengths Kobe/MJ stans go to simply cuz Bron a better all around player. And you never see groupies latch on to the ring comparisons so hard with any other player just the guys who ONLY won with Phil. Its the only argument, and a very weak one at that when comparing individuals. If it was so strong he'd tell us Pippen (6-0 in the Finals) who plays the same position as Bron is better. But they wont do it.

Statiscally outside of free throws and FG attempts Bron does EVERYTHING better than MJ. Same FG%, better rebounder, better playmaker, better from behind the arc, more versatile defender. This is common knowledge at this point except to groupies who"s only defense is team awards.

Truth is Dude, a LeBron fan and have stated as such. I've come to realize Dude is a troll, refers to people as Stans, but that fool has his own cuddly pet name for LeBron which is a little suspect and I go baited, so I apologize for the disrespect... Won't happen again.

Its curry's league now is it ....lol

alright
It is... who else is getting more press, all we hear are pleas being copped for other stars, and Dude is running the league ragged. He's the king if the hill right now Bruh, can't nobody do shit with him. All them fools are looking up at him and his squad...

"Air" knows he never won so much as a playoff series without Scottie holding his hand. Thats why we get bitter HOF speeches, "in my prime" war stories, and dreams and wishes of still being out there . 0-6 (2 sweeps) vs the best Small Forward of his era, he'd have no chance against this 1. By the way, what time MJ play tonight?

Nah nigga, you aint getting off that easy. Dont spin it now into a tank job. A few weeks ago you was talking bout yall back... Eat them L's lil nigga. You aint tanking, you just stankin'.
This coach is Marc trestman all over again

Get rid of a defensive coach for a simp who has a "high" powered offense

Tonight DOC will go overkill since this team canned his boy.

Pau said he opting out

Trade that euro trash

Pop on 3-pointers: 'It's like a circus sort of thing'
San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich fired another shot from long range Wednesday night as he continued to voice his displeasure over 3-point shots.

"I still hate it," Popovich told reporters before the Spurs' 97-94 loss to the Toronto Raptors. "I'll never embrace it. I don't think it's basketball. I think it's kind of like a circus sort of thing. Why don't we have a 5-point shot? A 7-point shot? You know, where does it stop, that sort of thing.

"But that's just me, that's just old-school. To a certain degree, you better embrace it or you're going to lose. And every time we've won a championship, the 3-point shot was a big part of it. Because it is so powerful and you've gotta be able to do it. And nobody does it better than Golden State, and you know where they're at. So it's important. You can't ignore it."

In 2014, the Spurs dismantled the two-time defending champion Miami Heat in the NBA Finals largely because of the 3-point shot as they fired up more attempts from long range (23.6 per game) than any championship team in league history to that point.

But even then, Popovich wasn't happy about it.

"I can't be stubborn," the Spurs' coach said after the 2014 title run, "just because I personally don't like it and think it mucks up the game. ... I still hate it."

The Warriors (23-0) have made a league-leading 313 3-pointers this season -- 77 more than the Houston Rockets, who rank second in the league, and almost twice as many as the 23rd-ranked Spurs (158).

"Nobody is as powerful with that 3-point shot as Golden State is. To date, none of us has figured it out," Popovich told reporters. "The 24-second shot makes it kind of tough. You say, 'Well, you have an advantage at the other end, use your big guys.' If there wasn't a 24-second clock, that would work a whole lot better."

The Spurs, who are second in the Western Conference standings with an 18-5 mark, are averaging only 18.8 3-point attempts this season.

Interesting yet his team won the last chips because of it

Remember, Pop change his style after that '07 'ship. He knew then the league was transitioning the high volume 3 point game and it took every bit of 7 years to make it work. I was actually surprised that he went that route in the first place. Spurs always a 3 point shooter, but never a team full of them. That's why I found it interesting that he went back to the big man game with the acquisitions of Aldridge and West.

That's kinda like Nick Saban with the spread offense. Dude hates that shit, but understands the nature of the game at this time. Saban does have a beast in the backfield so he still pound the rock, but just had to open the offense up.

Rondo with the flush. Melo missing layups.:dunno:

Melo had his comments about not getting calls

He was clearly expressing that tonight you could tell by his body language and facial expressions after

He better start flooping is all I can say

Refs don't respect it if you go straight up

You not getting the call

That's an interesting take as far as flopping. It's been going on for years, not getting calls, but he has to play through that somehow. Missed an open layup and an open Porzingis on the final play.

NY could've gotten a road win, or OT, but Fisher and Melo didn't execute down the stretch.

It has been going on for years

He isn't a big flooper

He does from time to time but for the most part he is making a strong move to the basket trying to score not just flooping around in there

There is contact and he doesn't get the benefit of the doubt from the refs

That's his beef and it's a legit one
