Robots is scripts used by search engines or crawlers to index pages of a site.

Something I want to bring to mind HNIC, as a non-logged in user, there is a lot that a person can browse. People's profiles and the board's forums/threads, think that is way to open... This is what you can see without being logged in.

When I log out I can't see the main board, the music forums, the movies forums or the sex forums but I will go through all usergroup permissions within the next 2-3 days

The old board was 35 threads listed and the actual thread would go 35 deep before it split into another page
I just set this board the same way 35/35

I tried using the tag feature when I made that Luke Cage thread just now......I wanted to use it,so people can search the thread alot easier...

The tag feature needs to be enabled, it's on the to do list

lol @HNIC I see the prices on the Donations have been adjusted. Not bad, basically paying an extra $10 for an additional year.

The donation prices changed about 2-3 years ago, it's not a new thing.

kayanation it has always been like that. All of the forums with bootleg content, music, movies and x rated videos are not available to the public. The G-Rated forums have always been open. We have to have something open to let potential new members get a feel for the board.
But Bro if you gottta go you gotta go, I'm going to miss you.

What's up Slam, I'm just getting to my messages. We opened up Wednesday at about 1:00 PM. It shouldn't have taken that long but the installer fucked up and it cost me an extra day, but all is good now.

I'll hit you back later when things are under control. I have a new Media feature that allows members I designate the ability to upload music and videos directly to the server. If I can fixed it where the links can't be hotlinked outside of the BGOL forums. I don't know if it's a good idea or a bad idea, I'll give you the facts later and you tell me if I should do it.

Hell if I know ask DJCandle, I was responding to him, I check the permissions in the admin panel then ask the member if what he has experienced changed.

When you click the thread, in the top right corner there's an option for Thread Tools and the 1st drop down is Edit Title.

I didnt realize it was always like that...

so the MAIN bgol board thread is open to the public to be viewed and always has been?

I always thought it was just the grown folk board, sports, politics etc.?

Yea, so all it was that if you attempted to post more than 5 items with [MEDIA] tags, it wouldn't allow you to and limit you to only 5. But HNIC since removed it, so now we can post as many links as we want.

HNIC is correct - the MAIN (and music/movies) board is closed to the general public. Same as it always was before the migration.

The only thing visible are the "general interest" forums.

i think is a good example of how we all have to be a little patient as the migration is not complete and it will take a few weeks before everything is running as smoothly as we would all like
