They writers/directors were definitely on the good pharma last night. Creativity aside I'm not sure what we learned or whether any story developments happened.
Kevin killed everyone (again) just in case, but was he supposed to? What would have happened if he died in there vs drinking the water. Was the little girl drowning telling us that Patty drank the water?
I'm starting to see more than a few patterns in this seasons themes that remind me of Lost.
A mysterious place that has some mystical powers tied to some ancient ritual practiced there.
A place that's hard to get to or get in unless you're special or always been there
People who either can't die, or seem to be able to return from the dead
A group of people who've been there (others) and newcomers who are trying to escape their past in some way
True believers (Matt, Michael - John and Erika's son), Skeptics (John) and people in between (Kevin and Nora)
A Protagonist (Kevin) with serious Daddy Issues
You even got a Lock equivalent in Matt.

That wouldn't explain it , the police were already aware of the possibility of a bomb when they went on the bridge to apprehend Tyler.

That must be it because it doesn't make any sense why they wouldn't take them into custody along with Tyler. Also, since they saw them come out of the front door they knew it wasn't booby trapped so there was no reason not to take a look inside the trailer.
Yeah I was wondering why they just left them there. I figured they only needed one more arrest to meet their quota for the day lol. But then these fools put up so much effort into keeping everyone else off the bridge like they were in on the plan to blow the bridge.
