Enjoyed the Joanna J - Letourneau fight as it showed Letourneau's durability. Everyone was expecting her to get her ass kicked just like Esparza & Penne earlier in the year, but she went the full 25 mins with the champ. Respect due. That ain't no small feat.

Mad respect to Holm ... major upset & glad to see her put a stop to the Rousey mainstream hype train. She pieced her up (that left jab was impressive), twarted RR's takedown attempts, stayed off the ground wherein she would have gotten roughed up and/or submitted ... and had the champ chasing her down, getting tired, and getting caught a number of times. As fam' at the party pointed out (as did BGOL fam') ... you could see Rousey's mouth open & visually marked up after that 1st. Then Holm stopped her in that 1st minute of the 2nd. Wow. Her headkicks are a thing of fucking beauty. Straight highlight reel GIF/MEME-worthy as she connects something mean. As Joe Rogan would say ... "Shin to the dome / shin to the neck" ... "clang" ... damn, son. Her victory really changes up the landscape at 135lbs and that was needed given all the overblown Hollywood mainstream hype for the champ in recent years. Complete overkill, and big ups to Rousey for all the work and media commitments. That shit fucks a person up long-term. Mad respect to Holm & the Jackson-Wink camp. * Just think ... if Cerrone wins the title in December, and Jones reclaims his 205lb strap next year or therafter ... the gym will have 3 champions. Holm @ 135 / Cerrone @ 155 / Jones @ 205.

Big ups to Mark Hunt on his win too. He'll be 42yo next March, and props to the cats who came through on the prelims. A good number of performances from the likes of Noke, Matthews, etc.
