Does he do it for the love or to make money? If Money, In today's climate unless you have very slow 808 driven beats and fast high hats you will go nowhere. This sounds very dated by today's standards. The era of actually listening to lyrics is long gone. If your boy is really trying to make it? Tell him to go find a London or 808 Mafia knock off producer, grow some dreads, put in some golds, get a bunch of tattoos especially on his face and mumble. Until then he'll just be entertaining a handful of backpackers at a coffee shop.

From the song title and layout, it appears to be an intro track. Shit is cool. Kept me interested. Just get the mix right. I'd bring the bass up and the sample down. Listen to some Ghost Face records: Cobra Clutch. It's a little high in my ears, more kick, but they got it.

They working on a mixtape where the entire mixtape has no hooks and all verses..... its going to be called Genesis and each song will be titled a numbered chapter.....

Just trying to do something a little different putting emphasis on the verses and lyrics and not just the hooks.

Yea its strictly for the people that dont want to hear that regular radio trap shit that plays all day.....

This whole project is something strictly for the love of hiphop not really for any monetary gain but hey if it leads there who will complain but thankfully if they can just complete the entire album it will be deemed a success.....

Nice..very nice... You can tell they are from the earlier era of hip hop..Old skool NYC sound to me. That said.. In the first track, the sample is over powering the vocals, especially for the first cat... But hell I've downloaded both. Keep that shit coming! A welcome change to have some new material to listen to that doesn't sound like the mc has a speaking disorder..
