Because in the video, the lady said she thought San Fran was the most diverse and liberal city she knew, her reason for living there. This new form a racism is her wake up call.

You have a point. But the term is usually used for people who thought they weren't black and find out that belief is contrary to reality.

What he stated happened to me MULTIPLE times throughout my life. Ive even had older Black folks treat me the same way. But it never got to me. I dont think ive become numb to the bs....im just good at "reading people". Therefore a lot of things are no longer shocking....more so expected. I just make sure that im prepared for the crazies.


Anyways.....
The Black people that you see in that vid are the ones that would be extra nervous around any kind of Black folks (just because theyre Black), but theyre always super relaxed around Whites; until the White folks theyre relaxed around show their true colors.

I know folk like that in the vid. Personally I don't like to deal with younger folk from either side. I tell em from the Gate I don't deal with em. I like my neighbors retirement age.a
 
its funny how they purposely moved into black neighborhoods to "assimilate", be hipster, and get cheap housing, but then find ways to get them to leave. Then they will hop to the next spot blacks congregate.
 
This is why I hate hipsters. They are racist, phony, and annoying. I hope they start getting killed riding their bikes through the worst parts of Oaklanf. They have taken over the uptown/west /downtown and North Oakland spots like roaches. They too shook to move into deep east. They will get merked.

I saw a couple of hipsters skateboarding on Lakeshore Ave at like 2am like it was nothing. They're mad comfortable over here now.

Lakeshore has always been nice though. A few robberies here and there but nothing like them doing their critical mass bullshit through West Oakland and eating ithe McDonalds across from the Acorn Projects.
 
I deal with the same shit here in this hipster philly community. White women and even white men cross the street when I'm coming up the block. I bought around here when the economy hit bottom now I have ridiculous equity, but I'm thinking about moving. I hate living around racist crackas. And this is suppose to be the liberal east coast. I saw mad Obama/Biden signs here back in 08. These bastids is prejudice to the core though.

My thought is where are the affluent black neighborhoods that are safe to live in? Why don't we create our own "hipster" communities? I'm actually for segregation the older I get.
