According to Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders, Lin could hear from the team that briefly made him a superstar in 2011-12:

@AlexKennedyNBA

There have been rumblings from league sources that the Knicks may pursue free agent Jeremy Lin this summer. No word what they would offer.

With the New York Knicks, Lin became a sensation even though he only appeared in 35 of 66 games that season. He averaged a career-high 14.6 points and 6.2 assists per game.

Lin has never been able to match the short superstardom he found in New York, but the 26-year-old has averaged more than 11 points per game in each of the past three seasons. He shot a career-best 36.9 percent from three-point range with the Lakers.

Even though Lin is listed as a point guard, he's better served in a situation that allows him to shoot rather than distribute. He's got the skills to be a very solid bench player who can play quality minutes for a good team, so expect to see teams come calling when they can negotiate with players starting July 1.

They miss that Chinese food :lol:

Jackson is working on becoming the worst GM in history

MJ propped him up. And Mr. Buss only kept him around so Jackson could satisfy his daughter. Jacksons is just about exposed.

I just can't wait to bump all them threads with motherfuckers shitting on him, talking about Felton was way better and shit! Lin about to come back and save these motherfuckers!! :lol:

Make sure you send me a notification because I'm going in... Vandamation bout to get that classic work :lol:

Out of all the ex Knicks doing big things, helping out their teams, they target in the one that regressed..:smh: I pray for Knick fans this is a bad rumor.

you niggas will believe anything

At this point they will believe anything that shows the Knicks in a negative light.

That being said, Phil Jackson needs two more years before he can be judged as a GM.

You have to recall how bad the team was.

I think the worst decision made so far was hiring Derek Fisher as coach.

Not happening. There's reportedly 7 other teams interested in Lin's services including the likes of Golden State, Phoenix, Houston, and Dallas. No way he would want to come back to a backwards organization like the Knicks.
