That also depends on tha area.Blacks comprised 1% of the population in 2000.They didn't have the 2010 census numbers but I doubt Blacks got over 10%.If anything its the hispanics whos numbers skyrocketed.

A Texas teacher was fired after she wrote a Facebook post Tuesday saying she was “almost to the point” of wanting segregation back after the policeman in the McKinney pool party incident resigned. Karen Fitzgibbons, who taught at Bennett Elementary school in Wolfforth, deleted the public post Wednesday, reported the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal. The Frenship Independent School District, just outside Lubbock, later released a statement indicating she had been let go.

These comments in no way represent the educational environment we have created for our students.

The employee whose account is responsible for the post will be relieved of her teaching duties at Frenship ISD.

We hold our employees responsible for their public conduct even when they are not on active duty as district employees. Employees are held to the same professional standards in their public use of electronic media as they are for any other public conduct. This recent conduct was unacceptable.

Frenship ISD hopes communities, parents and students understand that these remarks do not reflect the views of our district, teachers and staff."

I can live with 35% as long as the other races bring down cac percentage below 60%.
50% cac is the most I'lI deal with.1% Black is totally unacceptable. I don't have kids but I always think about how my kids will be treated when they go out the door going to a school where there are only 20 Black kids in a sea of white faces.

I never been to a school growing up where the Black population was under 35%.Some schools never under 95% and one was a magnet school.

You would think most have them now.

When I recently accepted my new job they told me straight up they monitor all social media accounts for all of their employees. Anything deemed offensive, rude, or in opposition to company beliefs/values, they will not hesitate to terminate employment in the spot.
