Secret Wars Reading Order!!

thought #3 was coming out this week, not really feeling the battleworld comic. Maybe after everything is explained I will check it out again
I feel the same way so far. I was afraid of them watering down the new line-up with some sub-par series, especially having ended some really good runs. I don't fully understand how they chose some of them, but hopefully itll all make better sense a few months down the road.

aiiight..i been out the comic game for about a year..
i see a LOT of diff books crossing over for this...and from past experience it isn't all necessary...
can someone tell me what da fugg is going on with this secret wars??
and what books you think are important (aside from the main of course)

Basically all the multiverse worlds included ours started to collide and destroy each other, the avengers tried to save it but ultimately our universe was destroyed. Reed Richards and all the people you see in the current comic had built a ship to survive the destruction of the universe. Some how Dr Doom and Dr Strange found themselves somewhere at the creation of the new universe that was created and created their own world with with heroes we are familiar with like the Thor army but they aren't actually the same heroes we know. Only the dr doom, dr strange and the guys who got off the ship are the people we are familiar with. There is no more earth 616, uktimate uniervse, or any of those alternate worlds just this one new world called battle world.
hmm...ok.....thanks....sounds like the DC Infinite shit that happens every so often and no matter WHAT the outcome WILL happen again at some point.
When you say 'built the ship to survive the destruction'...is that happening in the secret wars books..or did that happen in something else...
gonna start the SW books today..
Secret Wars 1 shows the handful of survivors boarding "the raft" and escaping. So if you start there you should be ok as far as thats concerned.
Im loving SWs, specifically, but I just cant get into some of the spin offs and tie ins. Seems like they are wasting several of them with awfully plain or far fetched (not to mention boring) story lines and characters. I do like the Inhuman, Hulk and Future Imperfect ones though.
yes #1 shows them in battle and boarding the ships. I listed the reading order leading up to secret wars in my first post. If you can find them it's a pretty good read. The spin off books that you see are showing the day to day life of the alternate version of heroes and how they are living in Battleworld. They haven't explained why or how Doom created all these alternate versions of people and put them on the planet yet.

Itll be interesting man. In the comments they were already talking about how neither Reed has anything to lose at this point, so ish might pop off real big like if those two go to war with whoever.Now if she gives Reed and Doom the boot and falls for The Maker
I dunno much about the Phoenix egg specifically. Is it one in the same as the Phoenix force, unpredictability and all? Cyclops looks like hes able to control it pretty well..
I just hope they don't weaken the characters like Thanos for eg. to even he playing field, the phoenix egg is supposedly the phoenix force reborn after it has been destroyed.
How do y'all read these?????

They gave away several of these 6 by 4 foot vinyl posters, I was dying watching little kids win this knowing it likely going to be ruined in a few months.

Yeah them delays were maddening.

Guardians of Galaxy,
Guardians of Infinity,
Carnage,
Vision,
Invincible Iron Man (the art and coloring are incredible),
Squadron Supreme,
Inhumans (both titles)
& Contest of Champions.
...Subject to change because ANDA ain't really moving the needle for me yet.
