Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

That fool killed his wife and a lion

This shit is too much

SHIT was real! IF you subscribe to his channel, you will find that this dude has some real nice videos including a 4 part series on all the houses in Westeros. I'm soaking this shit up like a sponge.

Dragon glass arrowheads for the necromancer to end the constant reanimating of the dead. Or it is a fight that can't be won without dragons or lava or something that totally destroys bodies like the green-fire maybe.:yes::yes:

:smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh:

Same sorta thing I was thinking.

That's the gameplan:

Kill the White Walkers (with Dragonglass or Dragonsteel) as quick as possible.., to prevent them from raising any more corpses from the dead.... then finish off the remaining Wights, Zombies, Skeletons & various minions with Fire, so that they STAY dead.

Random theory....what if Danarys is Azor Ahai...the prophecy says "he" but prophecies are vague at best...lol. Just thinking...if she gets hip to the threat and the fact that Valaryan steel can kill walkers....she could use dragon fire to forge another legendary weapon. She's already shown some ability to wield ancient magic when she birthed the dragons. idk....just thinking.

What prophecy? :dunno:
Who the hell is Azor Ahai? :dunno:
What episode did they mention this character? :dunno:

several recent posts in this thread suggest otherwise. do the work bruh...I promise its not hard...just click play

I get it.

You were referring to the video clip posted above.

But none of this stuff is mentioned (in depth, like this) on the tv show. :smh:

(It's a kinda spoiler-ish, imo.... Just saying)

I guess I can see why you say its spoilerish...but the fact that its all speculation makes me think otherwise. Either way..I apologize if it spoiled something for you.

Nah it's all good.

I was just a little worried that it might 'branch off' into multiple convos that may be better suited for the other GoT thread (for book readers). :dunno:

That's all.

I guess everyone is at the point where.... we have no clue what the fuck will happen next...... every Sunday @ 9PM. :D

:lol::lol:

We all in the same boat NOW.
Fleeing Hardhome... with the surviving Wildlings. :D

I havent read one page of one book....just speculation. I do have my theories on Jon Snow, Dany, Tyrion...etc. but yeah...we'll all find out at the same time with Stretch summing it up for us in hilarious fashion.

Three days later I'm still in awe

^^ Agreed. This episode was a BEAST. :D

Since Sunday, I've watched this Episode 8... at least 3x... from start to finish.

This was definitely one of the VERY BEST episodes of the entire GoT series, in my book.

My shortlist of 'best episodes' also include:

- Ned's Death (season 1) / The Red Wedding (season 3) are tied for 'most shocking' episodes, so far. :(

- Battle at the Wall (season 4) / Hardhome (season 5) are tied for 'best big battles' so far.

- The Mountain vs The Viper (season 4) / Lady Brienne vs The Hound (season 4) are tied for 'best 1-on-1 fight scene', so far.

- Tywin's Death (season 4) / Battle of Blackwater (season 2) are tied for having Tyrion's 'most cheer-worthy' scenes, so far. :D

- Tyrions's Trial (season 4) / Chaos is a Ladder (season 3) / Khal Drogo Promises the Iron Throne to Dany (season 1) had the 3 'best speeches' in the show, so far.

Just my opinion.

I think Cersei licking water off a dirty ass floor is the most cheer worthy scene followed by Joffrey choking on the strangler and, going to season 1, Viscerus getting his "crown" from Khal Drago after talking all that shit.

I can dig it. But i think it's Jon. I have a stronnnng feeling it's Jon. His story so far is setting up to be legendary.

It's Jon, for sure.

Been saying this for a while. He is the hero of all the heroes of this series.

The heroes of the series (the ones that won't die if you ask me)

Jon
Dany
Arya
Bran (just cuz we haven't seen him doesn't mean he isn't).

Of them all, Jon is on the classic heroes journey. Google it. He's currently in the challenges and tribulations stage, so expect something to happen to Jon that won't kill him, but will be the catalyst for a rebirth. At some point he will have to be cast out of the night's watch in some form, perhaps in the form of betrayal.

I don't even know if he will have the iron throne now that i think about it. I think the iron throne is actually going to be too small for the character he will grow into.

What I do think he will have is the title of savior of the entire realm, that he is the Song of Ice and Fire, the offspring of a queen from the north and a targaryen.

Shit is gonna be sick.

I was talking about Tyrion's cheer-worthy scenes.
(ie the episodes that focus on him.)

I've been thinking the same for a while and it's the most likely outcome...but that's kinda what makes me wonder...this show tends to throw wrenches into "likely" outcomes.

I think this is what all the 'booker readers' have concluded about Jon Snow.

(Expecting something to happen to Jon that won't kill him, but is the catalyst for his rebirth.... is really just a spoiler for an event that comes from the books - which a lot of 'book readers' are waiting to see happen on the show & discussing on multiple message boards)

I never read the books, but I've seen 'the event' directly mentioned on several messages boards, or hinted at.

I think the MAJOR plot twist of GRRM story is that Danaerys is the main villain

Look at her resume, she's committed and justified some major atrocities

that would be cool, and people in power that see things in black or white like Dani originally did, easily become villains...
now Dani still lacks experience, so she over compensates or lets shit slide when she shouldn't... but every person in power in this series has done or ordered some horrific actions...

I haven't read the books, but he's clearly the classic hero. And as much as Martin likes to turn shit on its side, we're 5 seasons in and 5 seasons invested into the stories of Jon, Arya, Tyrion and Dany, all whom have very developed character arcs. Of the four Jon is the quintessential hero.

Doesn't insanity run in the Targaryen bloodline?

She looked mesmerized by dude being burned alive. Maybe she becomes the Mad Queen? :smh:

yea. these characters have passed the gauntlet imo. if they were just gonna get clapped up it would've happened by now.. look at the rest of the people that started the show.. there's few left.

Jon will be the hero for sure. Might get poisoned by Olly.. won't kill him but will make him stronger and give him a larger sense of purpose past the night's watch.. which he's already leaning towards with gathering the wildlings.

Dany and Tyrion from our point of view will look like good guys but from everyone else point of view look like conquering evil rulers when they come to westeros with an army and dragons burning up and killing all those who don't want to make her queen.

then Jon and Dany meet in the square

I kinda disagree. :smh:

Lord Peytr Baelish is the MAIN villain, imo.

Shhheeeiitt... the way Baelish operates & double-crosses everyone.... I wouldn't be surprised if the MAJOR plot-twist is GRRM revealing in one of his upcoming books.... that Littlefinger somehow 'struck a deal' with the White Walkers (to hedge ALL his bets) loooong before Robert Baratheon asked Ned Stark to be the 'Hand of the King'.

"Littlefinger would let Westeros burn to the ground, if he could be King of the Ashes" - Varys

Baelish is the type to let the White Walkers kill everyone in Westeros... then double-cross them, in order to take over their entire 'army of undead' and rule Westeros.

I don't think it matters to him if 'his subjects' are alive, or dead. He just wants to be King.

yea he's good but he's not that good.

ain't no deals with dudes like white walkers. he has nothing to offer them.. nothing.

We don't know that.
GRRM has not even written the last books yet.

All these 'book readers' up in this thread in here speculating their asses off, with lots of info & wild guesses about NOTHING that has ever been discussed on the tv show

if he writes that into the last books then throw all the rest of the books away. that would make zero sense.

if its to be believed they come when the long winter comes no matter what.

then you could say he has a feeling this is going to go down so hedging and ok with everyone dying and then taking over once the white walkers go back from where they came...

but actually striking a deal with them should be completely out of the question.

oh ok.. you were being sarcastic.. ok
lol

i haven't read the books on purpose. i wanna watch the show so everything i say is based on week to week overview and the entire scope of the show through its tv run.
