Costco New Car Prices

Yo Jagu you the lease aficionado, what you know about taking over leases... know anybody that's done it. I want to test a few cars out but I don't want to hold onto them longer than a year or so
Go to swapalease.com and look for a car that you like within your payment range and apply for the assumption. But since you're in Atlanta, short term leases don't look good anymore because you have to pay full taxes on the car now.

1. is this a joke? why hasnt it been publicized?

2. what is "their invoice?" the MSRP that they show or what they pay for the car inventory?

3. do you have to use their financing?
Why would it be a joke? It's on Costco website. Costco has pre negotiated the deal for you. So it makes the experience stress free and you know you got the lowest price possible or at least close to it.
60 months is a normal purchase term the fuck this dick sucking fag laughing at?
Yeah I know. I think he was trying to laugh at the fact that the car was financed instead of buying it in cash like lil Wayne teaches him.

Damn, I thought when you takeover a lease all the taxes and fees were paid already an you just takeover the payments an pay a transfer fee. So are you saying I will pay the same taxes as if I went to the dealer directly?

In Georgia , yes. Not sure if you know this, but in 2013, they changed the rules that everybody must now pay taxes, even used car buyers. So you can't register the car without proof of payment of taxes , which is 6.75pct of sales price. The flip side is that you no longer have to pay those yearly birthday taxes on the car.

Any brand, I actually found out about it when we went to Lexus last weekend. Just make sure you go to coscto's website, build the car you want and chose the dealer near you.
Tell them to give you the price of the car first and then later tell them that you want to finance it by leasing and they will get you the numbers based on your special price.

Just went to the website:

Thanks Jagu.

This shit will come in very helpful when it comes time to make my decision.

They have all the brands I'm looking at too, but I plan to wait for 2016 models unless I get an excellent deal on a 2015.

Infiniti QX60
Audi Q7
Land Rover LR4

By the way, any thoughts on these cars?

Costco makes no money on the auto sales. It offers discounted vehicles to attract members and keep existing ones paying the club’s $55 annual fee. “Their primary, overwhelming interest is members’ willingness to join and renew,” says John Rand, senior vice president for retail insights at Kantar Retail. “The filter by which they do anything is, ‘What do my members think?’ ”
Eight years ago, it was sometimes difficult for Costco to get carmakers’ attention for national promotions, says Gina Paolino, president of the Costco Auto Program. Today, automakers are coming to them, and there’s a waiting list of dealers keen to participate at almost every Costco warehouse. “Now we have a story,” Paolino says. “We’re getting more interest because of the success.”
The bottom line: More than 398,000 vehicles were sold through Costco’s warehouse stores last year vs. more than 199,000 in 2008.

i think they are testing their negotiation power, slowly building it up until they are like walmart and can press the suppliers/middlemen to lower their prices, or allow costco to make a profit.

Shit I just stumbled on this thread. Didn't even know this existed. How do you know the prices BEFORE you get to the dealership?

You just call the participating dealer and give them your costco number. Tell them the make of car and desired features and they will give you an up front low price.
