City of God... one of my all time favorite movies.
not a bad list
I just saw THE MACHINIST and i can't believe no ones talking about it. maybe im all alone, but i loved it. I thought this would have been on your list

Children of men was an excellent movie.

The Fountain was fucking horrible. I hated it. Glad I saw it at the dollar show. Hugh Jackman better thank Marvel for Wolverine, because damned near all I have see from him outside of that was garbage.
Children of Men; Tucker and Dale (funny as hell), Unthinkable were all good to interesting. I started Layer cake and didn't finish and downloaded Kiss Kiss and haven't watched it yet.

Should add Ex_Machina to the list. [/IMG]
Time Crimes is one of my faves.

If you like Timecrimes, you should see Predestination.

Hell the fuck NO.
Should add Ex_Machina to the list. It's not for everyone. It's dialogue heavy, the kind of sci-fi that works on a deep, philosophical level, but this is the best, most thought-provoking movies I've seen in a long while.

Where can I catch this, homie? I didn't see it on Netflix. Is it on Redbox, or streaming anywhere else on demand?
no doubt...
"Why did you tear up Ava's picture?"
"I'm about to tear up the fuckin' dance floor. Watch this."

cosign. the best pure sci-fi i have seen since the original matrix.

Fam, You tripp'in or just need to watch a lot more SyFy! The movie was "okay" at best(To put Ex_Machina and the Matrix in the same sentence...)
City of God is one of the most critically acclaimed movies ever. I'd be surprised if someone hasn't seen it.
