***THE OFFFICIAL BGOL 2015 NBA PLAYOFFS THREAD*** Who you Got?

Reggie 20 points Miller the hardest to stop

How much longer is David Lee under contract

Ironic

He is the hardest to defend due to his ability to use the screens and his height... You can disrupt both Curry and Allen with length, but Miller had the height to jump over most men guarding him... That does not make him a better shooter than Curry though...

Here is the logic, Curry is the best shooter but sometimes takes bad shots, good thing for him he can make some of them..
Allen is more of a cerebral shooter, doesn't take as many shots as the other three but is very wise when to pull the trigger..
And Miller size and his ability to use the screens makes him harder to defend on the court...

We listening but you got to explain further and give us some more examples brotha.

I got to call this a reach man

Remember Miller played in a different era where shooters were not allowed to hoist shot after shot from the three.. In today game his numbers would be similar to Currys who only average around 20 for his career also... But make no mistakes Miller was a bad man on the court..

You're right, players now take many more 3's so the numbers are skewed.

Curry shoots 6.5 3pts per game compared to 4.7 by Miller so it stands that he takes a heck of a lot more 3pt shots than Miller...

The big difference is team are much better at grabbing offensive rebounds off of the long shots... So even if they miss or shoot for a low % they can grab the rebound and keep shooting until they get hot.
Plus today you can't even sneeze on the three point shooter or the ref are going to call you for a foul.

Memphis cant score with Golden State. If they dont hold them to under 90 points they have no chance. They perimeter guys are very good defenders, but offensively they leave a lot to be desired. Getting into these shootouts dont play in they favor, they're not slowing the game down anymore.

This is how I rank them,
Curry the best shooter...
Allen the smartest of the three and takes the best shots..
Curry the hardest to defend and stop..

My thoughts... Not sure Reggie is harder to defend than Steph with those handles, his ability to pass and his mid range game...

And if you shoot over 40% in 3's like Steph then.......it adds up quick over a season and a career.

That's roughly 56 threes made out of every 140 attempts. Damn. That's wild. Never really thought about it that way until you and RR broke it down.

Most guards are able to deal with the handle easier than Millers size... Not saying that either is easy though I'm just saying I've seen Curry turn over the ball with bad passes and over dribbling at times, but when Miller jumps over you, there aint shit you can do about it..

was he not boxing out Milsap?
No. He was on Horford. Did a half ass box out and got outworked for the ball. Awful. He shouldnt have been in the game. He was getting worked all nite. Gortat and Gooden should have been in. Whitman fucked up. A major fuck up.

Put it this way, I was watching the Cleveland game the other day and they mentioned how JR Smith shot seventeen 3's one game. Not seventeen shots but SEVENTEEN 3's! I could be wrong but I can't remember a player from past years ever shooting that many 3's.

Steph is definitely one of if not the best shooter ever but being that he shoots more 3's than many of the previous players he's bound to break most 3 point records.

ok the grizz can't keep up with GS

we can't score and can't rebound

some how some way this off season we need to find some perimeter scorers :smh:

and marc gasol plays like a bitch

Watch the replay again.. he boxed out Milsap (Pierce's man)

Horford wasn't even in the lane when the shot went up  shows you how much he wanted that ball

I don't disagree about Nene's effort or that Gortat & Gooden should've been in
