when she "put him to sleep" the first time...:giggle:

suns goin down big guy...

it felt weird not having them be Mutants.
They killed Ole Boy because He's in the X-Men movie.

that's the reason why. maybe they will find some way to bring him back, because it's kinda strange if both are not in the avengers.

I have a question. Why did the Vision choose to create the cape and clothing he had? He looks at Thor and then the cape and green and gold clothing just forms....did he get the idea from what Thor was wearing?

He has the look from the comic book (of course) but there was no explanation for why he chose that look.

It sort of reminds me of the last Spider-man where one scene Electro has not uniform and the next scene he does...full outfit with a meter on it and everything but no explanation where he got it from.

looks like he chose to imitate the first person he saw in the story..

To me, Vision's physical appearance was a combination of subtle features/characteristics of the 3 beings who were MOST responsible for creating him.

- He had similar 'glowing eyes' as Ultron.

- Mixed with some red & yellow colors, plus the 'sharp angles' & 'armored plating' look of Iron Man.

- But also had the same subtle 'scales' usually seen on Thor's outfit (who used his Godly lighting to finish off his 'incubation' process)

So when he looked at Thor it was almost as if for a split-second Vision thought to himself... "hhmmm..something is missing" :dunno:....then his cape comes out. and it was like the final moment when an artist puts their signature on a canvas, when the only thing left to do is.... add a 'finishing touch'.

There's two gauntlets. The one that he grabbed isn't the same one in Oden's lair

There's only one gauntlet.

I did notice the one in Avengers 2 has none of the gems, so this article from huffingtonpost seems off.

That's because Thanos is just starting his mission to collect all the gems together.

That's the beauty of the way marvel has set up the stories /introduction to the infinity gems. It's all a long setup for infinity war.

There's only one gauntlet.

I think it was Kevin Feige who said 12 hours from the time I got home (I think) last night that there are two, and that the one that Thanos has is not the one that is in Odin's vault. Yeah, I found it:

There are two different gloves. That was not Odin’s vault that you see at the end.

Fans speculating that this all plays into Loki's hand cause he playing Odin so he could give the gauntlet to Thanos, but if it's not the same glove, (I mean there is a left and a right hand), I wonder how that will play out later on. Are there 12 stones? Does combining 6 between two gloves make it more or less powerful? Why was it reported that dude who played Tripplet was on the Avengers set when we didn't see him?

So many questions!

Yeah that 2 gauntlet/glove thing makes no sense.

In the comic the glove was just a regular glove, but when thanos collected the infinity gems, in Thanos quest, he stored them in the glove he was wearing anyway. Interesting.

Sitting in the theater now waiting for the 1pm showing to start. My 9 yr old is about to lose his mind.

Sent from my Galaxy S6

My only disappointment was they went to Africa and mentioned Wakanda, but no Black Panther
I got all pumped. When they mentioned Wakanda I was like, YEAH! We are going to see Black Panther! Then...FUCK, they could have at least shown him for a hot second. That shit was like Death Row showcasing Lady of Rage in the very first song on Snoop Doggy Dog's Doggystyle even before Snoop rapped...and then not releasing her CD for 4 fucking years.
im going to see it but it wont be in no fucking 3D....

do you mfs actually have a clue what 3D movies does to someone with astigmatism

my fucking left eye is in automatic focus the entire fucking movie...i see shit distorted then when the movie is done my eyes are tired as shit

:smh: i will stick to the normal movie

I was wondering what that damned problem was. Shit, never again. My left eye was weird from the jump. Felt it before in 3D movies, but always thought it was because I was fucking tired all the time because of the sleep apnea. Damn. No more 3D.

How is it in 3D? Should I bother?

No.

Good movie. The ending was cool. So are we going to see another version of the Avengers in a new movie? Hulk movie? Seems like everyone split up and went their separate ways.

two things i didnt like, so since Tony and Thor didn't have their chics in the movie, we still had to see some type of romance. And the mid credit scene was meh. We've seen Thanos twice already. It would have been cooler if they referenced Spider Man or Black Planther.

I'm so happy i can't control my emotions. Comic fans will love this movie. And that's why Joss is DA GAWD MC for this shit. There's things happening in the movie that movie watchers will pass over that comic vines will GEEK about! Shit reading Avengers on wednesday will make you geek because almost the exact same thing happened.

Tony is a Dick. Cap is the idealist. Tony is a man of the future with shady morals/ Cap is the man of the past who still holds onto the past.

I thought i was going to dislike Wanda? FUCKIN LOVED WANDA!!! And if you read the comics i think you'd have a certain fear of pissing Wanda off that movie go'ers don't have. Comic people KNOW what happens when Wanda Maximoff gets pissed and becomes unstable.

Hawkeye Quicksilver friendly... love/hate? Fuckin Beautiful. Only JOSS could capture that shit.

Hawkeye being the glue on the team? Yep.

Hawkeye's speech to Wanda? You comic readers remember what happens after House of M? Yep!!

Thor's action scenes were better here than in his own fuckin movies!!! Vision was wonderful. I didn't think they could pull him off RIGHT? But they DID!

Wanda's fuckin weirdness for Vision? Comic readers get it.(I always found it weird and just chalked it up to being white and baltic)

This is why you have people make movies? Who fuckin know comics.

i agree. i was waiting for Wanda to say "No more....".

I'm hoping this means that Thanos went to Asgard as got it. If so, having him beat nearly everyone in Asgard, and kill some - bring his own Ragnarok(I'd hope by the time Thor got back Thanos had already wreaked shop on them) to the "gods". Thus showing non-comic reading audience WHY Thanos is one of the BIG BADS of the Marvel U. That would be cool, but I doubt they would do that.

p.s. I would have THanos already in possession of the 2 Infinity gems not shown in any of the other MU film, as that would explain how Thanos would easily decimate the Asgardians by himself.

This is the most cameos I've ever seen in any one flick. This was a satisfying story while setting up "phase 2". Filling Whedon's shoes is going to be tough...

Great action from 2 minutes in to the end

Hulk was destructive

Scarlett Witch was scary, looking forward to Dr Strange now

loved it. really like when thor went wtf for a split sec when cap budged the hammer.

when the vision had it in his hand, everyone in the theatre went 'ooooh'

hawkeye when he said 'we're fighting robots and i have a bow and arrow. i know this doesn't make sense'

Interesting theory he has the as yet unseen time and soul gem?

I would rather see them revealed in Upcoming movies.

I think that is more the case cause of the 2 gems yet to be revealed the time and soul gem, One is attached to adam warlock and we have seen his cocoon in guardians.

Thing is all this is just setting up the chess board:yes:
