Avengers: Age of Ultron movie review

scared to watch this. trying to knock out all my coursework so I got Friday afternoon free for the movie.

Got to see this in the theater.

See that shit in 3D. You'll feel like a kid again.

Whedon did a good job although Scarlet Witch's powers were :hmm:.

this shit was off the chain. just got back from seeing it.

will be seeing it again in imax tmrw. off. the. chain.

That shit between the Vision and Thor was b.s.
In my opinion.

Are we going to have spoilers in this discussion?

Spoiler alert below:

In my opinion that thor and his vision's was a set up for his next movie ragnarok.

Really this whole movie was just a set up for civil war ragnarok and of course more info/incite into the infinity gems setting up infinity war.

Maybe it's just me but 3D looks like shit, don't know how people sit through more than a hour with those glasses on

i don't like 3d either. but i want that imax sound. i was in a good theater today and the sound mix was underwhelming.

Ok, and that's my cue to avoid this thread untill I see the movie.

Just got back. I can honestly say I enjoyed this more than Avengers 1.

Also the BvS teaser during the previews looked real good

im going to see it but it wont be in no fucking 3D....

do you mfs actually have a clue what 3D movies does to someone with astigmatism

my fucking left eye is in automatic focus the entire fucking movie...i see shit distorted then when the movie is done my eyes are tired as shit

:smh: i will stick to the normal movie

I thought James Spader was the perfect voice for Ultron but I didn't like that they gave him such a human personality. Also, much like Optimus Prime, why the hell did they give him lips?

Wasnt planning on paying for another Marvel/Comic type movie until May of next year (XMen, i.e. my fav), But I Might go see this one. Not sure yet. Havent paid for a movie ticket since last summer.

Is this movie full of action? Or is it 30% action, 70% dialogue? I ask because a movie like this aint worth seeing at the theater, imho, if it aint full of action/special effects.

Im sure the comic book geeks can get until all the fucking talking....but i need to see action.

Am I the only one who feels they didn't need the entire avengers? If cap can throw motorcycles like bandana p throws tvs, why can't he just deal with those guys?

This action scenes are some copy and paste from the winter soldier and the first avengers. the only thing different is probably location and identity of the enemies

cap isn't in the same league as hulk and thor...who really stands out is black widow and hawkeye...they shouldn't be avengers..

yeah pretty much..how many times are they going to do the 1000s vs 7 thing..:smh:

In the trailers there was a scene with a black woman in a cave (that was rumored to be related o black panther) but in the movie was nowhere to be found:confused:

Age Of Ultron’s Blu-ray release will include an extended cut of the film

Always looking for ways to make a little extra cash, Marvel Studios has found a way to turn Avengers: Age Of Ultron into two movies—sort of. When the movie, which opens in U.S. theaters on Friday, comes out on Blu-ray later this year, special features will include an extended edition as well as an alternate ending. The information comes from a release issued to Amazon UK customers and acquired by The Telegraph.

Although the words “alternate ending” suggest a different conclusion altogether, it’s quite possible that this Blu-ray addition will just be the extra post-post-credits scene that Joss Whedon swears isn’t in the theatrical version. As for the extension, the theatrical edition is already Hulk-sized at nearly two and a half hours, but Whedon’s first cut of the sequel clocked in at nearly three and a half hours, so there’s plenty of extra footage to choose from. It’s unlikely that a full hour will be added to the Blu-ray version, though, so fans will just have to accept that some of that footage will remain locked up wherever that original Ant-Man script is kept.

While viewers in the U.S. still have a couple days to wait before they can start to make it rain in megaplexes across the country, Age Of Ultron has already opened in 44 international markets, bringing in $200 million on its worldwide opening weekend. It’s expected to make just a little less than that in its first few days in America, and it looks like fans will have to prepare themselves to watch the movie at least twice to get the full experience. Just start handing your paychecks over to Marvel Studios now.

I'm so happy i can't control my emotions. Comic fans will love this movie. And that's why Joss is DA GAWD MC for this shit. There's things happening in the movie that movie watchers will pass over that comic vines will GEEK about! Shit reading Avengers on wednesday will make you geek because almost the exact same thing happened.

Tony is a Dick. Cap is the idealist. Tony is a man of the future with shady morals/ Cap is the man of the past who still holds onto the past.

I thought i was going to dislike Wanda? FUCKIN LOVED WANDA!!! And if you read the comics i think you'd have a certain fear of pissing Wanda off that movie go'ers don't have. Comic people KNOW what happens when Wanda Maximoff gets pissed and becomes unstable.

Hawkeye Quicksilver friendly... love/hate? Fuckin Beautiful. Only JOSS could capture that shit.

Hawkeye being the glue on the team? Yep.

Hawkeye's speech to Wanda? You comic readers remember what happens after House of M? Yep!!

Thor's action scenes were better here than in his own fuckin movies!!! Vision was wonderful. I didn't think they could pull him off RIGHT? But they DID!

Wanda's fuckin weirdness for Vision? Comic readers get it.(I always found it weird and just chalked it up to being white and baltic)

This is why you have people make movies? Who fuckin know comics.

It was so awesome when thor did that thing with his hammer, and black widow bent over and did that thing with her gun
