Syfy is ending Helix.

The cable network has canceled the sci-fi bio-thriller after two seasons. The series starred Billy Campbell as the leader of a team of researchers from the CDC trying to contain the outbreak of a virus.

While the show, produced by Battlestar Galactica’s Ronald D. Moore and Sony TV, had an impressive first-season run, its viewership dropped significantly during season 2, with an average of 560,000 viewers and a .2 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

First season was very good, the second season, not as much. The theme are the killing the immortals as part of population control should have stayed focused on Hataka not the Michael and his incest having ass...great show but it had a good run.

cosign what others said.....

was a bit confused by the parts of the 2nd season.

no spoilers, but the events in Julia's 2 timelines seems impossible

Julia's story was from the future and the other from the present....what was so hard about it....with that said, they should of got rid of the future story though..

They went away from everything that made the first season interesting with the whole cult storyline. Total misstep.
