My name is Zo Williams. I am a self-published author, relationship coach and television/radio personality. As a student of world religions, I am very passionate and opinionated man. My thoughts about the breakdown of social systems and institutions and how they impact human relations within the urban/alternative community. I have often been dubbed as “Tupac meets Deepak,” or the “The Hip Hop Dr. Phil.”
As a trained professional, I am committed to helping others reach important goals or making difficult changes in their lives. I am empathetic, respectful and outcome driven. My LC certification is from the International Coaching Science Research Foundation (ICS) where I was trained using a scientific approach and met all of ICS’s stringent requirements of coaching. As an ICS Credentialed coach, I received very specific coach training, achieved a designated number of experience hours and have been coached by a mentor coach.
I currently host my own show, The #ZoWhat? Morning Show, which is under the TradioV.com network and also can be heard on The Corey Holcomb 5150 Show; and appeared on several television shows including, Spitfire, a hip-hop roundtable show with rap legend Kool Mo Dee and as a panelist on TV One’s, Black Men Revealed. Preparations are being made to release my second book in February 2015.

This campaign would allow me to have access to the necessary funds to self-publish my latest book. It contains necessary information to help all of us have healthy and loving relationships and identify any obstacles that would prevent us from doing so.

My campaign is to have the necessary funds to help me finance a relationship roundtable and/or book tour to followup The Rebirth of Seeds in selected cities. It would give me an opportunity to decode and bring understanding the complexities of the modern day relationship with my radio listeners face-to-face and speak to them personally. I lend a unique perspective on relationship coaching world.

It would give me an opportunity to decode and bring understanding to the complexities of the modern day relationship with my radio listeners face-to-face and speak to them personally.

“If relationship is a classroom, everyone needs a teacher.” Contributions would enable me to help guide and point individuals and their relationships in the right direction. The more I know and understand myself and what pushes my buttons, I am able to have respect and be more sensitive with those whose opinions are different from mine through a personal journey of self-discovery, self-growth and self-empowerment with inspiration and insight. I would have an opportunity to share perspectives that you may not have seen before or even known existed will come to light will help to expose the core issues in your relationships and how to deal with them.

One of my unique qualities is the ability to inspire and motivate people. We will explore things you never knew about yourself in creative and innovative way. I use humor, share personal experiences and will challenge you to be a better you, we and us. If your relationship is distressed, tools for reboot will be shared and ideas will be given to make a strong relationship a great one. The things that are shared will help you identify your relationship issues, work through them to create total transformation.
If my goal is not reached, the funds that have been raised will be used to develop a series of videos and webinars and an out-of-the box media marketing campaign to get the information to the masses to continually affect change.
The Impact
This project is of value to those who contribute as well as to everyone as it will cause us to look at ourselves and be whatever we need to be for ourselves first and then reach out to others. I got my professional start as a music executive and have worked with a myriad of Hip Hop and Pop Music heavyweights at Loud and Maverick Records. Over the years, I began noticing the thematic shift in music content and traced them back to some of the negative nuances in how my generation related to one another and ultimately the world. I knew this would be my call to service. My path has allowed me to pool my life experiences, literary skills, and independent studies backgrounds together. As a result, I have become an expert and one of the premiere authorities on relationships and the Hip Hop Community (Generation X.)
No matter what comes my way, I am fully persuaded to keep moving in the direction of my goals and dreams. My motto is: Believe it to achieve it! My plan for resolving challenges is simple. The initial questions that I ask myself continually are: What is it that I want? How bad do I want it? My first step is to define the goal that is fueled with desire. Desire will be the driving force that helps me achieve it and keeps me focused. Secondly, I see myself actually achieving the goal and experiencing the feeling of having it manifest in my life. Third, create the action steps I will follow by working from the end result back to the beginning and reviewing frequently to ensure the more important ones are included so my goal can become a reality. Fourth, I write it down, create the plan and develop my timeline. Next, I access my progress or lack of progress in my calendar of my achievement plan. Lastly, the overall progress is reviewed. I will tap into my support system if needed or delegate a task to someone else on the team.
