Man Carol pulling the okie doke on them. Notice how she talked so highly and lovingly of her husband.... THE SAME HUSBAND that used to kick her ass.... Then she all on some "den mother" bullshit.... Nah man.... Carol playing the game.... She want them to think she's weak.... So when shit pop off they won't even expect her to go as hard as she will.

When Darryl screamed at Carol "YOU LOOK RIDICULOUS!!" when she was on her soccer mom on her way to work act, that was a total AdLib by him. That line wasn't scripted and it is how Darryl truly felt about her outfit. Apparently it took numerous takes to shoot that scene because Darryl kept laughing at how goofy she looked...

And Rick was so zoned out in that shaving scene that he couldn't even finish shaving his beard. They said he paused a lot n just looked at himself because he was so into character that he felt the symbolism of the beard coming off. They had to cut the scene then have someone else shave him, then let him finish up for the scene.

And Darryl has the beard in his freezer..... He kept it.....:smh:.... WHITE PEOPLE

carol has been a pro @ "keeping up appearances" even before the zombie outbreak irt dv. she was one of the first to have a child die, the 1st to do many things others were psychologically unable to do, lived on her own out after being banished from the prison, etc... lest we forget:

This last episode was a good one. I like how they are all sizing up the place. Those ROTC fools thought they were running shit when Glenn dropped their asses. This show is deeper than everyone thinks. The writers can really make this situation epic if done right.

Rick warning the lady that they can take her shit if they wanted to.
Everybody in the crew playing the innocent role (Glenn, Carol, Carl) but will put a bullet in anyone's head.
The lady revealing that they have never seen action outside of the wall.
The women in town already making moves to jump ship to Rick's crew. (The wife who cut Rick's hair, the old lady pretty much begging for Rick's help, and the girl running away in the woods is starting to look at Carl a different way).

Side note: Yall notice that the lady hasn't given Daryl a job yet? Could it be that she doesn't want him there?

It would be epic if Rick and crew straight take that place then we see shots of all the towns people doing all the work while the crew chilling in the house eating all the food straight chillin. Then we see Rick in bed with the hater's wife naked and he slaps her on the ass and tell her to go make him a sammich and then we see Carl in that kid's room playing Xbox with the run away girl laying next to him naked. LOL shit is about to go down.

almost forgot about her - she should have a good back story. i think she's the one who swiped rick's hidden piece outside the compound.

this junction has recaptured my interest...started to wane there for a minute.
 
This is a great evolution if Rick and them become the "bad guys". These people in Alexandria trying to hold onto the past and ignore the reality that the world is fucked. You need people like Rick to protect them.

Shane, the Governor were ahead of the curve but lacked Rick's ability to get his group to run through walls for each other. That's why Rick is alive and they aren't.
 
I don't get it

If it is a trap what could it possibly be? Unlike the other sanctuaries the folks here obviously don't have the manpower, firepower, or baddassery to enforce their will so how could they trap them? Sure, the congress woman might have banished some folks, but I'm pretty sure Rick and the crew could handle that okay.

Maybe Darryl's job will be to train everyone to be soldiers. He hasn't been assigned yet because the crew hasn't fully established the dominance needed to make it happen

It isn't a trap for Rick's group, it's a bad thing for the community residents. The hens just let the wolves into the chicken coop.

But they did mention that they had to expel three people who wouldn't conform to community rules so maybe they'll be a problem.

Daryl is a hillbilly, they don't usually like living in those types of societies. They more or less shy away from conventional communities.
 
Carol is just puttin on an act....the way she was fumbling the gun
around like she didnt know how to handle it.......dressing like a laid off nanny....during the interview, just actin like she was just a normal housewife
that simply cooked and cleaned. She's doing that shit for a reason.....she doesnt want
to let them know that she knows how to handle herself.

After the people died on that run, they realized their weakness probably.

Rick and them are the realest dudes alive to the people of that community.
Really if they wanted to, they could snatch the shit up expel all those people and have their own lives right there inside the walls if they really WANTED to at this point.

Rick and them had more guns than they probably have in the whole damn storage area by themselves

I loved how she almost DROPPED that gun while taking it off like I have NO IDEA how this assault rifle got around my neck in the first place...

great acting and great way to show the growth and development of her character...

People want to call they episode slow, But I think it was the best one all season to me.

It was slow in terms of action, but important things happened. They got off the fuckn road and had a chance to de-stress momentarily.

We also got to see that no matter how they clean themselves up externally they are all committed to staying vigilant against threats.

They are also slowing building up tension between Michonne and Rick.

I predict the preacher is gonna fuck up some way and start some shit between the the group and the new people.
 
There was nothing slow about this episode. It was easily the best of the season and one of the best in the franchise period. Great great episode that touches on so much shit. And yes, Carol is playing the game to perfection and the outcast residents will make an appearance at some point.
 
At first I was like yeah Sasha fuck that happy white family.:lol:
But damn she's gonna cause someone to get hurt.:smh:
