@@@Official Cavs thread 2014-2015@@@

I put that cac on ignore a long time ago, once I realized he watched basketball souly to hate on dude.. Then I said to myself no black man would go that far.. Either that or he is some new breed experimental coon that the government just created..

Why is it everytime your baby daddy lose you and that other lunatic from the heat thread start talking this stupid shit about race? I'm guessing you 2 are in the same Jr high school class. You came right to the thread after the loss with that bullshit.

Dummy there are only a few players in todays game that drives to the paint hard, and all of them are protected with outside shooters.. Harden team shoots way more three pointers than anyone in the NBA and with Irving the Cavs are right up there, the next hard driver is Westbrook and he has nothing but shooters too..
But then again, look who I am talking to, a guy who judge the players rankings base on his man crushes...
BTW if LeBron is so wack like you imply in every one of your nba threads, the why is your man Durant record vs him beyond ass? Shit he even lost 4-1 in the finals vs him with Durant, Westbrook and Harden, thats like the top three MVP guys over the last two years.. Maybe he needed two more MVP to win three games..

Wow!

Btw you know how crazy as fuck I would be, to be camping in Thunder thread (do they even have one?) and popping off like a champ every time they lose..
Don't you hate the Heat? Because I recall you in their thread a lot last year...

I haven't been paying attention too much to the nba I just watched the games today bc I'm sick and it wasn't shit on TV but I'm gone for a minute and come back and you're making the same lebron has no help excuses. He don't need 1 or 2 altars it's gotta be 3 or more now. Then you have the nerve to say look at all of the shooters westbrook has around him and the love is not an allstar. Look at his stats matter of fact look at all of lebron's teammates stats when playing with him. You play with lebron your job is too make him look good.

If you ever played ball you would know that everyone needs help to win big games.
If you read anything I've been saying, all along, is that most teams needs two stars and roll players and a serviceable specialist (something I regard Love as), this game shows what happens when you are missing that 2nd star, sure you can win games vs the lesser teams and even against the good ones, but your room for error is very small, plus it takes so much energy you can be prone to injury and fatigue. .
Unlike you, I am very consistant with my logic and don't have to perform mental gymnastics every time my team loses in order to find an excuse...
No one is superman, and for you to regard LeBron to those high standards and yet hate him, comes off as a little disturbing...
To think a guy who is playing with out his 2nd scorer in a game where all of his shooters was cold, and a game where he scored 37, yet missed a shit load of free throws and still only lost by 2 on the road, sucks...
How bad do Durant suck for losing to that same guy 13 to 3..
While you do your mental calisthenics Im going do some work over here...

Figured you would fold up like a cheap suit...

BDR, You pussy..

Just like Lebron is for playing for a racist, making the racist plantation owner more money.

Cavaliers-Raptors Preview
STATS LLC

The Cleveland Cavaliers have their All-Star point guard back in time for a hellacious stretch, while the Toronto Raptors are hoping for the return of theirs as they resume their tough run.

Kyrie Irving and the visiting Cavaliers begin a stretch against five straight winning teams Wednesday night when they try to move into a tie for the No. 2 seed with the Raptors, who could get Kyle Lowry back.

Irving missed Cleveland's 93-86 loss at Indiana on Friday and Sunday's 105-103 overtime loss at Houston -- the team's first consecutive defeats since a six-game skid in early January -- because of a left shoulder strain as the Cavaliers (38-24) fell to 1-4 without him.

The Cavs bounced back as Irving returned with 18 points in Tuesday's 110-79 home rout of Boston. He and LeBron James were only needed for 26 minutes while Kevin Love played 25 in a game the Cavaliers led by as many as 44.

James has scored 37 and 27 in two games since sitting Friday due to a sore back, and he sank all three of his free-throw attempts Tuesday after going 21 for 40 over his previous five.

The Cavs now have an opportunity to move into a virtual tie with Toronto (38-22) for second in the Eastern Conference as they start a stretch with six of seven on the road. They'll also face Atlanta, Phoenix, Dallas and San Antonio after taking on the Raptors.

"Top eight," James said when asked in which spot he'd like to see Cleveland finish. "Put me in the playoffs, I'm all right. Once I get in the playoffs, I'm confident against anybody."

James scored 35 points and made the tiebreaking 3-pointer with 48 seconds remaining as Cleveland rallied back from a 14-point third-quarter deficit for a 105-101 home win Dec. 9 in the most recent meeting with the Raptors.

Toronto is playing its second home game in a stretch with nine of 11 on the road that finally concludes March 10.

Following a season-high five-game skid in which they averaged 90.4 points and shot 25.4 percent from 3-point range, the Raptors got back on track by hitting 11 of 27 from long range in Monday's 114-103 win at Philadelphia.

DeMar DeRozan picked up the scoring with a season-high 35. He had scored 13.8 per game -- well below his team-high 18.3 average -- on 29.6 percent shooting during the losing streak.

"It didn't matter who we got this win against, we understood we just needed to get this win," DeRozan said after the Raptors improved to 31-8 when scoring at least 100. "We had to get that confidence back."

Lou Williams helped make up for Lowry's absence with 21 points off the bench. Coach Dwane Casey is considering resting Lowry for a third straight game to heal some nagging injuries after the All-Star scored 11.9 per game on 34.2 percent shooting in his previous 10.

Lowry has averaged 20.3 points and 10.3 assists but shot 36.0 percent in the three meetings with the Cavs.

Williams scored a career-high 36 in a 110-93 win at Cleveland on Nov. 22, but had five points in a 105-91 home loss Dec. 5 and six on Dec. 9.

Toronto has gone to the free-throw line 30 times over the past two matchups after shooting 42 in the first. DeRozan didn't play in the last two because of a groin injury.

Time to start exercising those flagrant that they brought him in for. Sometimes you just got to lay wood on their star player to send a message. There was a time when the teammates would chip in a fund to cover the enforcers fines.

IJS.... let Perk do his job.

Vegas now list the Cavs as favorites to win the NBA championship, proving what I've been saying all along.. You see at the beginning of the season I said I liked the moves the Cavs made but I would not know until the All Star game how far they would go.. The shortly before the ASG they made the trades that sured up their lineup and right away I noticed that their composition had changed dramatically and from then I said that they should be favorites to win it all.. To me predictions this late in the season hold m
Now before I go any further I must stress that, like Vegas, this is a prediction based on probability, not some psychic bs or a guess on how I would like things to be... When you are dealing with probability you are actually analyzing variables that are more likely to happen and weighing against each other..
My method is simple I look at all the top teams flaws and see what teams has the fewest vs what team has the most flexibility... I reward bonuses for superstars of the game, depending on their ability to alter the way teams play defense against them and their ability to make their teammates better..
I don't know exactly what criteria Vegas uses but I do know that they are the most accurate (they have to be this is where all the betting money is) but for them to match my prediction shows that my system is pretty good, for the record I usually am at accord with the Vegas odds, in the NBA, and in the NFL usually close in the vs odds by a point or two..

Again for the lame brains, nobody is saying they are going to win, no one can accurately predict that, all I and Vegas is saying is the odds are in the favor of the Cavs winning... And for a billion dollar organization who one mistake can cost them billions, such predictions are not taken lightly..

Good luck to the Cavs and this thread, will be gone for a few weeks up to a month... I will try to come here, once I get internet connection, will miss the Hawks game, and that should be a good one..
I think whats going to be important in that one is the rebounding edge, and the Cavs ability to attack the paint. If the Cavs do what they should do, it may force the Hawks hand to play big..
Also Alex is right, the Cavs need to stop bullshitting with T-Mo mins in the 4th quarter, enough is enough with that shit seems to me they are getting a little to damn cute with leads going into the 4th and its going to bite them in the ass eventually..

Also after the first Pacers game, the one with out Love, I realize that the Cavs have a vulnerability towards bigger teams that like to mix it up, and lately teams been trying to rough house James as an tactical plan.. This is why I called for a player like Perkins since that Pacers game, and if the Cavs are serious about their title aspirations, they must protect their stars at all coast if not teams will continue to attack James hoping to either hit him up with a tech for retaliating or just frustrate him and rattle him (something I notice seems to work from time to time).
The Heat had the same problem their first season vs the Pacers, that is until they unleashed Dexter Pittman on their asses, leaving the Pacers crying how physical and dirty the Heat played them.
Perkins is going to have to channel a little Udonis Haslem/Dexter Pittman, to send a similar message towards these extra zealous teams..

Take this shit back to the mid 80's Detroit Bad Boy's days.

Some shit you don't allow without some retribution.

That's what they were talking about on sports talk. If the refs don't step in and start throwing cats out and suspending them, Blatt going to have to get tossed and Perk going to have to goon. Cavs can't have people just going hard at Lebron like this is the 1980s. If that shit is allowed, you have to bust the other teams ass since the refs aren't doing their job.

Cavs vs Hawks tonight. Let's see if the Hawks can shoot their way past the cavs.

Milsap gonna put the beats on love lmaoo

Perkins ain't bout that life... He was tough when Garnett was in his ear

So why we not discussing the game. I was just reading a couple pages back about some very good analysis. Was hoping to read some more of that NBA knowledge

Gene so u gonna admit the Hawks are for real or are you sleeping on them dudes like everyone else?

Man we almost came back from 35 down last night. Beasley was dominating the fourth. This season we just can't stay Healthy for shit:smh:

Yeah I'm not even mad at that lose those dudes showed grit... If Dragic didn't leave the game Heat would've won that

Gene so u gonna admit the Hawks are for real or are you sleeping on them dudes like everyone else?

Hell yeah the Hawks are for real. Cavs got a huge wake up call. But the Hawks are going to be a tough matchup. Cavs didn't even see this much ball movement against Golden State.
