{~~~Guns, Guns and Mo' Guns - The Right To Keep And Bear Arms~~~}

Yea, I've read that before. Why is that?

What about SKS's?

What's the best platform & caliber for quietness?

The one of the issues with suppressing AK's is the gas port venting.

The SKS, I have no experience with. I do know a couple of guys on the boards whom have suppressed SKS, so it can be done. I just don't know how effective the DB reductions are..

In my experiences the best round/platform for suppression is a .22lr through a bolt action rifle. I run a few .22 cans on my Rugers and Savages and it's close to "Hollywood" quiet. As far as centerfire calibers. I'd say .300 BLK. It's said that part of the design was aimed at being fired from suppressed short barrels. .45ACP is another round that suppresses well. The weight of the bullet keeps it subsonic. .9mm suppress well too.....

Repost but I had to

I'm seriously considering getting a Kel-Tec KSG later this year.

I was actually gonna post this a few days ago when I saw Hickok45's review of it.

I like it, man. 14+1 shells of 12 GA in the most compact design & length allowable by law. I don't see myself getting either anytime soon, not until I have a chance to shoot either or both and I get wow'd.

UTS-15, here is a side by side comparison vid..

My next shotgun will be a Mossberg 930 JM Pro (10 shots & semi!)

And I'm still considering the Saiga 12 vs. Molot VEPR 12

I have a Saiga 12. I really like it because the gas piston system takes a lot of the kick out of it. I've spent hours shooting 3" slugs out of it and I didn't feel it in my shoulder at all the next day.

You can actually get 24+1 out of it if you use 1.75" 12GA shells.

You can get 1.75 12GA slugs as well.

I thought it would be cool to have for home defense until I saw all of the pictures of cuts on people's arms from ejecting shells.

Added another ar15 to the collection. PSA has new deals every week dont sleep on them. Quality products for great prices.

please don't I have on (GENII), look at the DP-12

it is ok, but I change the followers and had a quick release sling installed on it for I can really enjoy the experience while shooting it/

Thanks fam. I just looked at some reviews on the DP-12 and it seems like something that I'd be interested in.

find a review online where the reviewer hasn't experienced FTFs and the gun isn't falling apart on camera - nut'n fancy (pause), hickock45 and fpsrussia come to mind.

Must cop for me. Got it soon as it dropped. Waiting on my tax stamp to put a stock on it. It is a no-brainer for me as I had the SIG MPX-C on preorder all last year and it still didn't clear the ATF setback and it was $1800. The scorpion is $895 and while it's only 9mm and not 357sig like the MPX I can deal with it.

Yeah this one is beautiful and gonna look nice with my 75 9mm. I can deal with the cost of 9mm vs 357 at the range. Gonna be a good home defense weapon too. I guess I need to order one because no one close has any.

Anybody currently working on any projects?

I just finished rough assembly of a SBS built on a Black Aces Tactical mag fed receiver. She will need a tad more work to get her to cycle reliably. Right now I'm running a 5 round mag with snap caps to work the action.....

0bama is anti-gun, so what's your point?:dunno:
My point was that I don't wanna support a company that openly campaigns against & undermines our BLACK PRESIDENT.

I'on give a fuck if he anti-fresh-air, I won't support a company that makes & sells products with "NOBAMA" on them. :hmm:

Nice!!! I am in the process of getting my Vepr12 cut down to match the police vepr 12 with the 13 in barrel. So tell me what is the issue is it not feeding or a mag issue? That shit is hot with the detachable box mag. What type of mag is that?

I figured out it's an issue with the ejector (it's a cunt hair out of spec), causing the bolt to get hung up. I ordered a new one, so it should be sorted out shortly. The mag is a Black Aces Mag, they claimed that the receiver would work with Saiga mags . No such luck, I fucked around with an SMG mag for like 2 weeks trying to get it to even seat correctly. :smh:

How do you like the Vepr12? They point very well in SBS configuration.

Cool that's a sweet build, you gonna cerakote it? The Vepr is nice a beefy ass AK action that shoots 12 gauge slugs and buckshot lol perfect in my book. Yeah I plan on keeping one to hunt with and the other a chopped truck gun/home defense. Dude I am having work on it can tune the gas ports so it can run everything. It ain't cheap but shit well worth it.

Why you choose VEPR over SAIGA?

I've been toying with the idea of building a 12Ga Zip/Pipe Shotgun just for the hell of it. You can literally build one for less than $10.

I made a 12Ga shell grenade back in the day out of a mouse trap (that shit was scary as fuck!). Simple as hell to make, which is why I laugh when people talk about gun control making people safer.

Yeah man, we use to make "One Pop" back home....... Very easy to make...

VEPR out the box is good to go. It is what everyone makes their SAIGA into. The saiga is imported without the pistol grip so to get the pistol grip and sporterized look of the stock vepr you have to move the trigger group. Even after doing that the weight balance seems to be way off still. The vepr is considered the Cadillac of semi auto AK style shotguns. The sights on the saiga are shitty too. You get a polymer (the only knock on the vep in my opinion) rail on the vepr but still you can easily throw a red dot on it out the box not so much with the saiga.
