{~~~Guns, Guns and Mo' Guns - The Right To Keep And Bear Arms~~~}

I want a 45/70, too. Something about an old cowboy movie I might have seen when I was lil, iunno even know what movie it was. That... and I couldn't never have a BB gun when I was lil, so now I want a grown man lever action

I'm looking to get into .22lr, what's a good rifle platform to look at?

It's gon be mainly for plinking

I'd also suggest a 10/22 (Everybody should have at least 1 in their collection).

If you have a AR15, I'd say go for a .22lr conversion. CCMG is IMO the best conversion kit on the market.

Or you can grab a M&P 15-22 however, the prices on the 15-22's have gone through the roof. I recall last year Palmetto was blowing them out for $299.00. The cheapest I've seen this year was $385. - $425.:smh::smh:.....

The .22 conversion is the same or different than the M&P 15-22?

They are different. The M&P 15-22 is a dedicated .22lr that closely resembles a .223/5.56 AR platform. The conversion, enables your standard .223/5.56 Ar to cycle and shoot .22lr ammo.

*Sees prices* Why you tell me to look at those? :hmm:

.300 win mag costs less and is more available than .308 NATO (7.62x51 NATO)?

.300 is a flatter round with some distance, GREAT round!!! even our snipers uses .300 now. btw, they are priced due the are worth it, savage is an good starter but I wished my first bolt action was a DTA. I had to learn the hard way when it came to mid distance shooting. Look at the prices of kestrel, front focal optics, etc., it is cheaper to buy a good midprice weapon to start.

Not really a stellar deal, IMO. If I were in the market, the fact that it's on a poly lower, would be the deal breaker for me. One could build on a forged lower, for about the same $.....
Build an AR pistol with forged lower for <$600?

You plan on putting a real muzzle brake on yours? Actually have you even shot it with that POS that it comes with on the muzzle?

Not yet, but I plan to. I think the one I want is called Night Brake or some shit.

Yea, I shot it that night. Dumb retahded fieball :smh: Flame was 'bout like dis hea... *holding hands 2 feet apart*

I put a sb47 brace on it at the top of the year, bout a week after I shot it.

I been really draggin my feet on accessories for it man.... dis shit is addicting and I'll be done spent up all my money.
I still need a grip for it, detent spring, sling plate, single point sling. Then I want a Ultimak gas tube rail & a red dot to cowitness wit, these two are last because if I don't like how it look or shoot they coming off and gettin sold. I like the look of the wood on my sticks :D

I just slicked up the action on it today, actually. Grinded & sanded the bolt, bolt carrier, the hammer..... slick as a piece o' pussy now

I got it right here w/ some 40rd mags

You must don't like yoin?

BRUH!!!!!! These lil bastards are money and time pits  fun to shoot but I took it a step further and SBR'd both my Pap and mini Draco. So yeah another $200 for tax stamps on both. But yeah thanks for reminding me I need to polish my Draco's internals might even put that new Geissele AK trigger in it. The Pap was smooth out the box and was supposed to be my truck gun but after getting the Draco it feels like a full size AK in terms of weight. Sad part my truck gun changes monthly it seems and these two aren't even in the rotation.

I love triangle folders! But I ain't about no paperwork dealing w/ guns. :smh:

You don't like the arm braces?

What made you change handguards? What kind are they?
What kinda brakes are those? Do they help with the fireball?

Pap was good out the box? That's good, mine wasn't and it was new, it didn't need much tho.

This is the video that made me smooth it out... Now that I watched it again, I missed some spots so I'ma do it again.

Believe me I ain't happy about the paperwork but shit unfortunately owning a gun means paperwork. I mean shit you gotta do paperwork just to get it from your FFL.

The braces are cool, well were cool. The ATF are being dicks and now if you shoulder the brace its a felony. Or as they put it if your intent is to use it as a stock and not a brace its illegal based on the letter they released recently. Yeah it's not a law but really those alphabet boys are not the folks you wanna play with. But if you're shooting on a private range or somewhere they don't trip you are good to go I guess. Another thing the length of pull is lacking using thoses braces.

I swapped out the hand guards because the sights on AKs are basic and I wanted to add red dot sights or lights to them being truck guns. They both are fitted with Midwest Industries quad rails and Spike's muzzle brakes. The brakes elongate the fireball to be real, but it allows you to see your target still on follow up shots for me at least.

Thanks for the vid I got a couple beaters I can use this on too.

I ain't done no paperwork for none of mine.

I'ma have to look up that new latest letter. This my first hearing of it. Shit like this make it hard to respect their laws, they're always arbitrary.

Yea, the short sight radius is why I'ma try the Ultimak gas tube rail with a red, so I can cowitness. If it don't look right with just the bottom hand guard I'll prolly ho with the quad rails.

Spikes muzzle brakes elongate fireball? Have you tried a krink brake or any other brake/flash hider?

I just used the regular thread protector and a Tapco on the mini Draco before settling with the Spike's on both. The Krink 4 flash hider is suppose to reduce noise a bit but I like for my shit to bark. Check out this vid

Thanks for posting that vid. That settles it for me! Krink.

Now I need something to quiet it down all the way. A suppressor that's not too long and very quiet

AK's by design aren't the best hosts for cans. Db reduction will be marginal at best (probably in the 130's).
