Last time I spoke with the brother it was for almost two hours and he never complained about his health.

Since we don't know the details could it have been an accident or something. This is just so sad to hear.

As Melon said I keep thinking he's going to pop up in this thread...

I havent been through this thread...but are u sure about the death?
I was just typing to dude about a day or two ago in a sports thread..i think.
something dont seem right......

if it is true...WOW
Like i stated...dude was just posting on here literally a couple of days ago.

Dont know the Brotha personally... but strangely I got a strange feeling in my chest right now.
Maybe it because i seen him post so much on this board ...and like i stated 1 -3 days ago.
someone should check the facts.....

That time he disappeared for over a year keeps coming to mind.

Its gotta be him, this from the obituary describes his board presence perfectly...

"Michael was an avid reader, a talented writer, a gatherer of knowledge, and fount of information. He was a delight to know, hilariously funny."

yeah man thats exactly what i was thinking about

on his fb page someone said that he was no longer in pain or something like that

it couldve been just a general message about death or maybe he was terminally ill and simply dealing with it by being himself

i would like to know what happened to him tho but deep down i guess it isnt our business

Yo Billy chill the fuck out man

this isnt the thread

delete all that negative shit in here man

On one of my PM messages he stated " An this is gonna be the 2015 LOG OFF MOMENT" and I thought he meant just from all the foolishness that was on the board, and when I went back and read it today, it just stuck out.

ya there's a "selfish" part of me that always asks the same esp. when it's someone near my age

No its not being selfish, it that we learn about our mortality through the death of people we connect with.. In a sense a part of us also dies when they die.. By asking how they died, is almost like inquiring how they coped or delt with their death, and ultimately it may help us all when we get to the point when we are ready to die..
I think what most of us want to know is, did he know he was dying or was it sudden, because if he knew he sure was brave, strong and courageous about it, if it was sudden we can only hope and pray he did not suffer..
But for every love one we lose we gain a bit of wisdom, this is why I urge the youth to listen to their elders, because many of us over 40 have a lifetime of loss and pain, that can be used to guide the next generation to help them not only in their time of pain, but also to help them avoid some of the mistakes that many of us have fallen victim to..

Yah man, I was just thinking about how he used to push everybody to they limits on the rap boards. Made me dust off my pencil and push myself after a long hiatus with the pen. Miss that dude.

I don't mean to be a stranger but that's just been my nature. Some of yall are like family I wish i stayed in touch with more often. Shane is one of those people.

Mac, Lexx, AlexW, Complex, Kaya, TruFiction, Dr.Truth, Alumni, Northside ... and so many others. I look up to all of you guys, please take care of yourselves and reach out if you need anything.
